Happy St. Paddy's Day!
Mar. 17th, 2015 10:43 pmAnd yes, it's supposed to be "Paddy" -- "Patty" is exclusively feminine in Ireland, it seems, and St. Patty has her own day of celebration: August 25th. I also learned that apparently St. Paddy's original themed color was blue! It turned to green once the holiday became a bit more about celebrating Irish heritage than the saint himself. Interesting factoids for your March 17th.
Not much to say about today -- worked, edited more of "Triskaidekaphobia," prepared and queued up posts on tumblr, answered people on other sites, and watched the new trailer for Sims 4 Get To Work -- starting to get truly excited about this EP! It really does look fun. :) Beyond that, only other thing of note is that it is WINDY AS HELL. Seriously, it's just blustering like crazy out there. And we've got an advisory about it for tomorrow pretty much all day, joy. . .not to mention the temperatures are dropping again. Come on, the start of spring is THIS FRIDAY -- what do you want from us, weather, blood sacrifice?
*sigh* Well, at least it's just wind for the moment. There's a potential for coastal storm this weekend, and I am not looking forward to it. For now, I'm gonna wrap a thing or two up and head to bed. G'night!
