IT WAS ABOUT 70 F TODAY
Apr. 18th, 2015 11:15 pmI'm SERIOUS, it actually got to honest-to-god SPRING weather! There was a nice breeze, and lots of sunshine, and it was just generally awesome. I started the day in a t-shirt and sweatshirt, but I soon ditched the latter. Went out for a nice long walk after I had my lunch, just soaking in all the gorgeousness and warmth. :D :D :D It's still pretty warm out right now, I'm hanging out in one of my nightgowns and bathrobe. Damn, I wish I could just copy/paste this weather onto the rest of the month -- or even just this upcoming week, which is supposed to be cooler and wet. *siiigh*
But yeah, it was a good day today. I did some editing on "Forgetting You" -- though I'm not sure I'm quite satisfied with it yet -- and wrote a little happytimes future drabble I might post next Friday as an antidote to all the depressing "Triskaidekaphobia" stuff. I'm all caught up on Helloween -- Bloodborne continues to be cool and dapper with fantastic views and much murdering of beasts. Though damn, all the little hints about how freaky the game gets as you progress keep making me impatient for moooore :P I'm maxed out on DragonVale stardust, and should have the Path of Stars by tomorrow, w00~ Eric also continues to kick ass in Spellfall with his axe of awesome.
Aaaand - I went ahead and bought "Get to Work," the latest Sims 4 expansion pack, which I keep thinking of as "Open For Business" because the "own your own store" aspect is basically pulled straight from that. XD I didn't do much with the actual content yet -- I just dropped in on Geeker and sent him to the library with Leslie; I'll do a quick post on that tomorrow -- but I did visit one of the premade stores in the new shopping neighborhood. Looks neat, I must say! I'm thinking I might have Leslie running her own shop or something when she joins Geeker's household (which will be soon, they made best friends today), and I'll be moving in Emmett and Marty from my Library and make Emmett a Scientist (natch). Dunno about Victor and Alice -- bookshop? Art gallery? Decisions, decisions. . .
Anyway, enough nattering -- I've still got some RP stuff to get to! I'm largely caught up on DW stuff (as far as I know, since e-mails are still tricksy), but I'm still working on tumblr, so let me get back to that. G'night all!
