The Warm Day That Turned Cool
May. 8th, 2015 11:18 pmAnd really, really foggy -- when I was coming home on the bus today it was like driving into a cloudbank! Except it hadn't quite reached where I lived yet, so the whole walk home there was sunshine in front of me, and dark fog right behind. It was very weird. XD And chilly, unfortunately -- we've got coolness coming off the water, so Saturday's not supposed to be as warm as these last two days have been. Hmph. Well, at least I got out for a walk at the best part of the day today despite being at work. And I also got a free lunch -- they had a lady bring food since they were considering hiring her as a caterer. Turkey sandwich and a bit of a spinch-and-fruit salad -- really yummy. :)
Not much else to report on -- I did some writing, set up tumblr queues, and played another chunk of A:MR earlier. I'm past all the icky bits with the sailors and such, w000~ Found a good way to get past the third tomb fight in the graveyard (the one with the constantly respawning Slithering Ruin) -- don't use lock-on, since it'll betray you in favor of the Slitherings. Instead, track the Sailor manually and abuse the HELL out of Clockwork Bombs. He'll attack and stun himself on those instead of you, and then you can run up and get a few hits in. Made the fight a lot easier to handle, let me tell you. I figure I can finish off the chapter tomorrow and start on the Mysterious East stuff Sunday. :)
Right now, though, chat time is upon us, so later!
