Beautifully Warm Mother's Day

Almost summer-like, really! This is the breakdown of how my outfit changed over the course of the day:

-->Black steampunk T-shirt with grey sweatpants

-->Same T-shirt with brown capris for my walk

-->Sports bra and shorts after my walk (because I'd sweat nearly to death in the other stuff)

-->Currently in one of my nightshirts/nightgowns (oversized tee) because it's warm and muggy enough for it

So yeah, I approve of this. :) I don't think it's supposed to stick around all week, though, meeh. I guess we'll see how things go.

Mother's Day went pretty well for me -- Dad and I got Mom a foot spa, since she said she wanted one. So far she's loving it, so yay. :) Dad also got her a ring earlier, so that was nice. Started off my day with writing -- editing more of Chapter 10 of "Forgetting You" -- and A:MR -- got past the Radcliffe bits at the start of Chapter 3, currently making my way through the Vale of Doom. Defeated the first proper Colossal Ruin with minimum damage taken too, w00h00. Getting back into the swing of things with this. :)

After that, it was the usual round-ups, watching the latest set of Bloodborne (things remain freaky and spidery, guuh), taking my walk, getting the first page of 2012 100 Drabbles of Summer up on the website, and just now taking care of tumblr queues and Dreamwidth tags (still got a PM to answer, but I can do that over lunch tomorrow). Also baking muffins and suchlike. Pretty productive day overall.

Oh yeah -- and I got my first twin dragon in DragonVale from cooperative breeding! They're almost the same as regular dragons, except they get a special background to their info-box and a glowing blue orb above their head. Though what I'm really after is another Galaxy dragon. . .who knows if I'll ever get one, though. My friends list is pretty sparse and everyone I can breed with has the same dragon. :( Meeeh. We'll see what happens.

At any rate, I have to hit the sheets -- work tomorrow and all that jazz. G'night all, sleep tight!
