Fairly Relaxing and Productive Sunday
Jun. 7th, 2015 11:01 pmI'm actually caught up on stuff for a change! :D Always a nice feeling. We'll see how long it lasts, of course. . .
Pertinent points:
-->Very nice weather today -- sunny and high 60s. Still cooler than it should be, but at least it made for a really nice walk. :)
-->My love of Bloodborne continues despite fucked-up-ness. Once again, I am a fan of something I have never played (and probably will never, because PS4 exclusive). It's just such a cool and cool-looking game. I want to know what werewolfy Dark Beasts Alice and Victor would be like, or what armor sets would suit them best. I need to find a YouTuber to bribe to make the characters and do a run with them. :P
-->I have Elysium in DragonVale! Right under the wire, but I've pulled off such victories before. :D And he actually came with a great name right off the bat -- Aspire. I've got him in my Large Olympus habitat. Adult version has epic wings, let me tell you.
-->Continued work on Chapter 13 of "Forgetting You." It is likely there will be no fic update this week because while the basic plot is staying the same, I'm basically rewriting all the details. It's for the better, trust me, but sometimes it does take longer than I'd like. *shrug* Whatcha gonna do.
-->Put up #31-40 of my 2012 100 Drabbles of Summer on ze website. With a minimum of fuckery from Weebly too, which was nice.
-->Played the Cardbridge section of A:MR today, aka my favorite domain in the game. :D I mean, it's gorgeous, it really highlights how beautiful the platforming can be, the soundtrack is amazing, and it's an excellent breather level before the difficulty starts ramping up for Queensland. Only things I don't like are that damn door puzzle (though I managed to get through that on the first try this time, go experience) and the fact that it's easily the shortest of the "mini-domains" that start most of the chapters. I know most everybody complains about the vast majority of the levels being too long, but I say Cardbridge is much too short. I want more Card Castles in the Sky, darn it. *sigh* Still, it was nice to jump and fly around in it again. Left Alice at the top of the Queensland slide to start next weekend's play session.
All right, I need to do a little final catch-up, then it's off to bed. Night all, sleep tight!
