Semi-Lazy Friday
Jun. 26th, 2015 11:32 pmSkipping most of the RP scene tonight -- I've got some DW tags that I've drafted that I'll put up in a moment, but I took a pass on tumblr stuff. Just not feeling it tonight, mostly due to tired and distraction. *shrug* It happens, and it happened on a good day -- not-very-busy beginning of the weekend. I'll have some stuff to catch up on tomorrow, but it's a manageable catch-up. Which means I can recharge by screwing around tonight. :P
Not much else to say, really -- though I did find out something interesting about A:MR today. I played through the arguably creepiest parts of the game -- the end of Queensland and Rutledge Asylum, ending at when Alice enters the Dollhouse. (Not to say that the Dollhouse isn't also made of creepy, but the visceral underbelly of Queensland and the horror of Rutledge tends to hit me personally a bit harder.) This of course includes the brief trip to Hyde Park in the fog, where Alice runs from lamp to lamp. It turns out that, after you reach the last light and trigger the cutscene with the Insane Child, if you try to go in any direction other than toward Alice's burning house, the game warps you back to that lamp, facing the correct way. It's kind of funny -- no turning back now, Alice! It's the penultimate chapter and you will play through it! :P
Anyway, that's pretty much all I've got for now. Gonna do some late-night writing stuff, then post up those drafts and see what's what on my personal tumblr. Night all!
