And Back To Normal

Quieter tag day means getting off at a much more reasonable time -- even WITH getting a birthday fic for a friend set in the queue. I do enjoy when the Alice muses come out to play, but it can get a little hectic simply because Britt and I tend toward long replies when playing with each other. All the paragraphs, seriously. . .

Also worked some more on "Card Castles" -- and made a tweak to Chapter 17 after realizing something in CCitS negated a comment made in there (namely, Victoria wondering who Dr. Bumby is -- Christopher already fills her in). Still believe I'll have Chapter 17 up for you all for Friday, but it may be 99% finished instead of 100% as I continue working on its perspective flip buddy. Maybe I'll just put it up on FF.net instead of everywhere and then do the full set once CCitS is done? We'll see how I feel on Thursday, I guess.

Anyway, not much else to say -- it stubbornly refuses to get any less hot or humid around here. My air conditioner is getting the workout of its life here. They keep SAYING we're going to get thunderstorms, but they never actually show up. . . I just want it to stop being so muggy, is that too much to ask?
