Semi-Out-Of-It Friday
Sep. 11th, 2015 11:18 pmI'm managing to get tumblr queues done and suchlike, but later than I wanted -- I got hung up earlier on getting something written fanfic-wise, since I tried starting edits on Chapter 18 of "Forgetting You" (Alice in Queensland) and didn't get very far. I think I need to rewatch the beginning of that chapter. . .why must landscapes be so hard to describe?
Additionally, Windows Live Mail continues to be a crapper, and I don't see any way to update it. Might try uninstalling/reinstalling it. . .honestly, I should probably upgrade to Windows 10 already and see what IT has for this sort of thing. I've just been reluctant because I've heard some nasty things about it tracking stuff you do. . .also because it involves reinstalling all my crap AGAIN. *grumble* Decisions, decisions. . .
Despite my grumbling, it's been a pretty decent Friday -- weather was rather gloomy to start, but it cleared up for a while in the afternoon. It's back to gloomy right now, but tomorrow's supposed to be pretty nice, so yay there. Another quiet day at work (some people had computer problems, but I was fortunately spared), and now I have a weekend to myself, yayz. And I'm FINALLY getting the Tourmaline in DragonVale -- plus I went ahead and purchased Whitbee's Castle, w00t :D So yeah, good times.
Right -- have to do Forgotten's queue (after accidentally publishing an ask -- well, whatever, my own fault, and it's just a question on how you say butterfly in french (le papillon)), then DW replies. Night all, sleep tight!
