Extra-Quiet Tumblr Night

Work today was busy -- I had to do the letters for those people who had rejected credit cards, and we had a meeting with the CAP manager (my old boss, in a sense) about going to the next phase of that project, so that's gonna be taking up more of my time. I suppose it's good to have things to do, but it can make for some stressful times at work. Still, better than being bored out of my mind.
Writing continues on Chapter 18 -- rewrote Alice's reaction to realizing she's in love. Poor, adorable thing -- she's kind of in shock over it all. I'm thinking of posting at least part of this as a sneak preview on my tumblr on Friday to make up for the fact the chapter itself won't be ready. I really do like how this new version is coming out, though. It feels -- weightier, if that's the right word. Like it packs a bit more of a punch. I attribute it to her going "I love you" rather than "I'm in love with him" -- the former feels more direct, and that's to the story's benefit.
And in DragonVale, the Faire has ended -- mostly. The ticket button is still there, and the stuff is still for sale, but the island is gone, so no more earning tickets. *shrug* I got most of what I wanted, so I'm good. Now I have to figure out what I'm going to do with my islands. . .
Anyway -- I should do DW stuff and hit the sheets. Night all!
