Red Curse Time
Jan. 13th, 2016 10:55 pmWhich is why I'm glad it's a much quieter RP night on tumblr than it was yesterday. And I managed to get all my replies for Butterfly Boy's Alice done over lunch today (plus a couple of others), so that was good -- allowed me to just do the copy-paste thing. I appreciate that some nights.
Work was mostly moving paper around -- literally, I was taking out old roster maintenance stuff and putting it in a box to be filed so we have room for this year's files. Had to be done, and if I do it, everybody else can do their thing too. And besides, the other important project I'm working on needs outside intervention at the moment -- have to wait for somebody to e-mail me back about that.
Up to the "filming BTTF II" bits of We Don't Need Roads -- didn't know Joanna Johnston, the costume designer on both sequels, was British! She worked with Bob Z on Who Framed Roger Rabbit in London and came along to join the Future time just on his asking. Kinda neat.
Discovery of the week: RIpta is not good about sending drivers down to South County who actually know the route they're supposed to take. I've had two drivers in a row who needed explicit directions on where to go. One of them even said she was lied to and told the 65 Express only had two stops, not three. Brilliant work there, RIpta. Fortunately this has yet to screw me over on getting to work on time, but still.
I'm tired -- time to hit the sack, I think. Night all, sleep tight!
