Quieter Night
Mar. 22nd, 2016 10:43 pmWork was busy as usual -- CAP workshop, coupled with the usual insanity of having to get all sorts of things put together before the end of the day (plus some fiddling around with the new phone system -- it has an IM system! Now that's handy). Fortunately tomorrow one of my duties will be taken over by a part-time coworker, so I can concentrate on catching up on some stuff I couldn't get to earlier. And then four-day weekend, w0000~
I also made good on my new resolution to switch off between the Victors on weekdays -- mostly. While I only did a full queue for Forgotten Vows, Butterfly Boy's Alice posted a Rutledge AU starter, and -- I couldn't resist answering, since it fell in so neatly with one of my own AUs that I've been wanting to do more with: Somebody I Used To Know (Victor and Alice were childhood friends, and Victor ends up visiting her in the asylum in AMA). At least it was only the one thread!
Not much else to say beyond that. I am the proud owner of the first Chrysalis dragon and sixth Monolith dragons in DragonVale, plus the Quartz. No writing on "Remembering You" today because my brain was in a totally different place -- figure I can make up for it on the long weekend. Parents still sick but on the mend -- no sign of it in me so far. Keep your fingers crossed!
