Busy Day -- What's New?
Apr. 6th, 2016 11:06 pmSpent the morning doing CAP stuff (mostly so they can't pester me about it anymore in the near future), then the afternoon was spent working on a major addition to our database thanks to our processing company. And the GL tomorrow is going to have new and interesting things in it, oh joy. [/sarcasm] And I got my period right in the middle of the day, so I was fighting off my usual case of "I just want to sleep" throughout the afternoon. Uuugh.
Have managed productivity at home, though -- got another bit done on "Remembering You" (and actually came up with a good idea for Victor's fight), and I've done all my tumblr queues. Time crunch means I can only get to a couple of DW tags, though. . . Well, that's the life I live.
Finished A Hat Full of Sky today -- good stuff! I still like Tiffany, and the Nac Mac Feegle remain the perfect mix of hilarious and heartwarming. Plus this one had Granny Weatherwax, and -- you know, she can be surprisingly nice around kids sometimes. Her interactions with Tiffany, especially at the end, are just wonderful. Hopefully I can get Wintersmith soon and continue the adventure -- for now, I'll have to content myself with one of my other books. The World of Poo looks intriguing. . .
Okay, a couple of pre-drafted replies, then bed. Night!
