crossover_chick: gif with Doc and Marty trying to get out of being written into twisted AUs (Default)
-->Catch up on videos: Watched Linkara's "Dart #1" review (awful comic in which the title character feels like an afterthought) and the Nostalgic Critic/Angry Joe "Superman Vs Batman" review (very mixed movie, according to them -- the stuff it does right is awesome, but the stuff it does wrong is awful, and the story is really not much good). Also a Fun With Shorts about how gasoline works, which was dull and baffling at the same time. Tomorrow, Helloween's LPs and Zero Punctuation!

-->Work some more on "Losing You's" new chapter to get it properly polished (and make sure I've caught any continuity glitches): Well, I ended up going back to the first chapter to make sure everything matched up there. . .and ended up making some edits. So yeah, it's looking like this entire story is going to get one final spit-polish in the name of making the new chapter (and a bit) fit in better. On the plus side, the chapters in "Losing You" are short (since it's kind of just a prequel story setting up Victor's arrival at Houndsditch), and I'm not doing much beyond playing with some awkward sentences and cleaning up some description, so it should go fast. And while I'll probably have to read through "Finding You" and "Forgetting You" to make sure no continuity glitches have shown up there, I'm not doing another full-on edit run. I want to move on in this darn series! (she says, with her other main project at the moment being an edit of "In The Land of the Dead")

-->Play Sims 4 and maybe try some more Portal challenge maps -- and, combining the two, look for/make Wheatley and Chell Sims, since I've decided I do want them and will probably be sticking them in as new roomies for Geeker: No Portal stuff yet, but I did play Sims 4 -- just a quiet day for Victor and Alice. Alice randomly decided to insult Victor when I first checked in on them, but by the end of the day they were being all cute and lovey-dovey again. To the point where I've gotten them a nice big double bed to share. :)

-->Putting Fallout Shelter on my iPad, as I've decided "yes, I need a new game" and "yes I'm interested enough in Fallout to do this much with it:" Complete! I've already started a Vault (490) and -- it's harder than I first expected. It's a resource management game, where you constantly have to make sure there's enough power, food, and water, and for a while I was struggling with keeping up the first and last two bars. But it's got its charms, and I'm glad to have it. I just need to find a place to read the Help file so I can properly understand how to work my vault to best effect.

-->RPing, natch: In the middle of that right now.

So far so good, I suppose -- time to get back into it. Night!
