Mail-Ridden Tuesday
May. 17th, 2016 11:07 pmIt wasn't our worst mail day, but we had a pretty hefty stack when I went and fetched it. Got me through the afternoon, at least. And tomorrow we have a CAP meeting, so that's my morning (or a decent chunk of it) settled. . .busy week overall, really. And a busy weekend, it looks like, with me planning on getting my hair cut and switching the closet over to "summer" mode. It may be a little chilly in the mornings and evenings, but we're starting to hit the 70s fairly regularly in the daytime, so that's good.
Got more done on Chapter 7 -- actually rewrote the entire return to Burtonsville to make it more active and to correct a stupid mistake in the original version of the story -- namely, Victor forgetting the ring. This time he sneaks back into the house to get it, and I think it resulted in a very nice scene. And will result in an even nicer one later. Ahhh, these rewrites have been so worth it. . . Speaking of which, looking forward to freshening up "In The Land of the Dead" next. Gonna enjoy polishing that one to a high sheen! :) And then I should be ready to give "Remembering You" the proper treatment.
Not much else to say -- got a slew of nice comments on my Valice works on AO3, which was encouraging. Had kind of a crashy day with Fallout Shelter, but I still got some new rooms and such built. No luck yet with any new dragons in DragonVale. And I just did tumblr queues, so I should probably get my butt to bed. Night!
