Back To the Grind
Jun. 20th, 2016 10:47 pmMore or less, anyway -- it wasn't too stressful a day, but I did have a fair amount to do. Imports, GL, direct debits, credit cards, a few phone calls. . . I suppose it did make the time go by. Which is extra-important this week, as it's probably going to feel long no matter what. Ah, the sadness of coming off a vacation. . .
Life continues as usual, more or less. Got some more done on Chapter 4 of "In The Land of the Dead." Changed up my game plan a little -- I was worried that Lizzie getting up in someone's face and attacking them might take away a little from her final revenge on Bumby. So instead I'm making the orderly more an implied threat, and Lizzie's reaction -- sending a bedpan cart into his belly -- a little more akin to a panic attack. She'll be all right, I promise. Learning Alice still has her rabbit will help her mood some. (Though learning Alice blames herself for the family's deaths won't. So many ups and downs in this damn story. . .)
And -- not much else to say. Just finished queue on Butterfly Boy, got one message to send out into the world, and then it's bedtime! So g'night all, sleep tight! Four more ordinary days to go!
