Day of Death
Jul. 26th, 2016 11:03 pmAs in, the majority of my day was spent catching up on obituaries. When there isn't a lot of mail and the imports aren't a daily thing, there's not much else to do besides maintenance. And we've got plenty piled up. . . Just sometimes makes for a boring day. At least I get to go home at a better time these days. . .
Another hot one out there today. We are apparently baking under a heat dome, and it won't break until Friday or so. All part of normal late July, I suppose -- I'm just glad I don't have to spend much time outdoors. Though there will be a little hike to the mall on Friday, but it's only a short distance -- I can take it. Plus, like I said, the heat might finally be breaking that day (along with some rain) -- we'll see.
Not much else to say -- wrote another ficlet for the "Lizzie Anna Liddell Van Dort" AU Nebby came up with that I plan to post on Friday, along with Chapter 8 of "In The Land of the Dead." Been fic-heavy around my tumblr lately. . . And I just finished up the queue for Forgotten Vows (as well as fixed his theme, as tumblr broke it with the addition of on-blog ads, grr. . .), so I'm gonna do my FF.net messages and then hit the sack. Night all!
