Happy Anniversary American McGee's Alice!
Oct. 6th, 2016 10:56 pmAt least I assume it's your anniversary, because the Alice wiki has today as initial release but Wikipedia claims it's in December. O.o But I like Mad Hatter Day better, so yeah. I was going to play the Madness Returns Interactive Storybook app, but -- well, it looks like EA took it off the market a while back, and the darn thing isn't responding to my taps, so I think it might be dead. :( I'll check again tomorrow. Darn it -- I don't play it often, but I still like it! It's a good little tie between the first game and the second! Meeeh. . . At least I still have my awesome AMA trailers to look at before I go to bed.
Walk today went well, even if there was a lot of standing around waiting for things to happen. And no breakfast goodies -- "refreshments" consisted of bottles of water. :( But we had a pretty decent lunch afterward. The course itself was beautiful -- Colt State Park is a really nice-looking place. I had a good walk, and enjoyed just hanging out afterward waiting for Mom and Dad to pick me up. Though I did end up getting a slight sunburn on my face. It isn't painful -- not even hot -- but still. Should have taken advantage of the offered sunscreen, it appears.
Usual driving lesson this afternoon -- still working on getting the hang of parking. I have trouble landing in the space I MEAN to land in. Somehow I always seem to start turning the wheel too late. Just gotta keep working at it, I suppose. . .
Writing -- well, I accidentally doubled up today by temporarily forgetting today is Thursday and I needed to get the next chapter up for tomorrow! Meaning not only is Chapter 13 up on FF.net, AO3, and my website, I'm also up about a page and a half on Chapter 14! Which certainly makes up for the other night's 400-word scene. . .hoping I can finish it up this weekend and check this story off the list. :)
And finally, happy birthday shoutout to my pal Ael! Unfortunately, I've been so intent on getting "In The Land of the Dead" finished I didn't think to write anything. ^^; But if you have any ideas/requests, feel free to send 'em my way.
