Here's the breakdown of my Saturday:

-->Woke up a bit early thanks to my parents leaving on their mini-trip; stayed in bed until about 8, though

-->Had a smoothie, caught up on tumblr, did some editing on Chapter 6 of "Remembering You" (the reintroduction of the Van Dorts to the story), then headed off to my dentist appointment at 9:45, wearing my thick coat. By the time I got there, I realized said thick coat was a mistake (largely because I was also wearing a pretty warm sweatshirt).

-->Had X-Rays done first, surprisingly -- the doctor said it looked like I had two tiny cavities in there, but when he actually went in and poked around, he didn't actually find anything. We think they might just be grooves on my teeth, but it's something to watch out for. I'll have to brush a little more carefully. Then I had my cleaning, scheduled my next appointment, and was out by 10:52 A.M. This gave me just enough time to run home, drop off the thick coat and the dental stuff, and get to a bus stop before the 11:07 bus came (though it was about ten minutes late anyway).

-->Made it to the mall safely -- crowded bus, I noticed. Lots of kid with carryons and such. Anyway, bought myself a new umbrella (since my old one broke recently) and some cheap lip balm (since I was out of it and with the cold weather coming on I'll need it) from CVS, then got a wrap from Subway for a late lunch.

-->Went to Dave & Busters, which was HOPPING -- still managed to play most of my favorite games though. Wasted some points on the Ghostbusters game when I couldn't figure out how to get it to start, annoyingly -- but I managed to get top tickets on Blackout, which was nice. After that was Newbury's, where I successfully located the next issue of the BTTF comic. This latest arc is dealing with some heavy stuff (namely, Marty's memories being of the old timeline, making him feel like an outsider in his new world), and there's a pretty spooky dream sequence about him feeling like he stole another Marty's life and getting rejected by Doc. . .fortunately it's balanced out by some nice stuff with George. Issue ends on a HELL of a cliffhanger, though! When's the next one coming out again??

-->I'd planned to take the 2:45 bus home, but after getting out of Newbury's, I'd realized I'd waited too long to leave the mall and would have to take the 3:30. Made the best of it by visiting the self-serve yogurt stand and making myself a chocolate yogurt with cheesecake and brownie bites, bits of Oreo, a sprinkle of M&Ms, and some Kit-Kat pieces (mysteriously orange -- old Halloween candy?). Yes, a horrible calorie bomb, but I don't care -- I don't have it often, I was walking around a fair bit to get everywhere today, and I didn't have dessert tonight to balance it out a little.

-->Tested my umbrella while waiting for the bus, prompting some guy to inform me that since we were "kinda indoors" (bus shelter) I'd just brought bad luck. Didn't say a word, though maybe he was right as he was on the same bus as me and proved to be kind of a disruptive asshole. Meh.

-->Got home, debated vacuuming (Mom asked me to do the living room, I've added the upstairs hall to that as it kinda needs it) and decided to do it tomorrow, hit the Vale (nothing of interest -- I might make another elder dragon just for shits and giggles), had supper (pastrami sandwich, leftover string beans and Doritos) with Linkara (Aquaman's origin! He fights Nazis and spouts awful one-liners). . .

-->And then I've been sort of bouncing around various internet sinkholes, namely TV Tropes (SOMEONE UPDATE THE BTTF COMICS PAGE WITH THE NEW ARC) and YouTube (watched Helloween slightly-drunkenly wax nostalgic on another old WoW raid (and get all giddy when it turns out the final boss had been updated to do something special with his new-WoW class) and get the special "leave early" ending of Haunting Ground with Fiona in her ridiculous cowgirl bikini).

-->I also listened to a song, made the mistake of dancing around to it, and smacked my leg into my bed's frame. FUCKING OW. My little toe's still hurting, though I don't think I broke it -- just bruised it. But yes, ow :(

So yeah, that's my day in a nutshell. I should really go and catch up with my tumblr now. . .again, glad I took the day off RPing, as I would have been useless tonight. Gotta be more productive tomorrow, though -- I have muffins to bake, vacuuming to do (will probably do that right after I wake up, in fact), and, if I can swing it, two RP queues to set up. Should at least look at the accounts and catch up on the dashes. . .and of course more Helloween to watch. We'll see how I do! For now, night!
