Well, I went into this knowing it would be my long day. . . Work was all right, if rather quiet -- not too much to do in the time between Christmas and New Year's, especially given we have two long weekends butting up against each other. I actually had a little project -- making up another batch of names and addresses for CAP -- so I was able to while the day away with that.

After work was the home loan business -- which nearly didn't get off the ground. Not because I wasn't pre-approved or anything, I was -- but I could only meet with her after work (she seems to be busy/off herself whenever I have a day off lately), which is technically after the bank closes. She promised to wait up for us, and I called her earlier to let her know we were on our way. . .but when we got there, we had to wait over ten minutes for someone to let us in. I called her three times (twice on cell, once on office phone) and got voicemail all three times. It was another guy entirely who saw us and let her know we were there. The meeting itself went okay, though it highlighted the fact that there's going to be a lot of good houses out of our reach. . .but we're just going to take it slow, see what happens once the new year starts, maybe look around and see what I can get for a loan from other places. Because we really do need to move -- this house is slowly becoming intolerable.

And it was home, for a late dinner and unfortunately no writing from me. Muse was just not working anywhere. I blame being tired -- I slept kinda shitty last night. My own fault, too used to be able to stay up as late as I want. . . Welp, I should be able to make up tomorrow. I'll have more time to play with, at any rate. Just hopefully the weather won't be too bad, we're supposed to get some icky rain and possibly a bit of snow. Not as horrible as it might get further up north, but still. Eugh.

Okay, I need to get to bed. Night all!
