E-Mail Frustrations

Ran into an issue with trying to make a daily e-mail that's supposed to be sent out to people who have sent in checks to us for pledge payments -- we were hoping we could just set up a template and then update the data source every day, but nope! Not how our system works! Frustrating as all get out, let me tell you. . . Not how I like to end my workdays.

Happily the rest of my day wasn't too bad -- beyond some idiot running a red light this morning and cutting me off. I swear, I think people want me to crash into them sometimes. . . But I made it both to and from work safely, so that's good. Necessary confidence boost after Monday's little incident. Though I still don't want to go near that patch of highway again unless I have to. Honestly, it's so poorly marked, I'm surprised accidents don't happen more often.

Anyway, onto the main event -- spent the vast majority of my evening editing and putting up Chapter 10 of "Remembering You!" You can read it on FF.net (though you don't get to see the actual funny title I came up with -- damn length restrictions), on AO3 (full title and notes!), or on my website (full title). Be forewarned, this is the longest chapter so far at about 19 1/2 pages in LibreOffice Writer. Lotta different characters bouncing off one another. But it all worked out well in the end, I think. (Fully expecting a comment from Gigs point out at least one part where I accidentally wrote Victor's name for Victoria, or vice-versa, though. Hey, it gets tough sometimes!)

Not much else to say about the day, really. Gonna finish up stuff online and head to bed. One more day to get through. . . Night all!
