Kind of a tough day -- there was a very weird mistake on the imports this morning (as in, check clearly said one person, envelope another, envelope people are DEAD), I and a guy on the phone had to wrestle our way through the website for credit card gifts (I couldn't figure out where he was on it), no less than three parishes have gifts being processed late, and I'm still struggling to get all the maintenance I need to get done done. Plus one of my coworkers is on vacation tomorrow through next Monday, so we've got to work around her absence too now.
And at home, I struggled some with the next part of "Fixing You" (Looking-Glass Land bit -- I got hung up on chess moves and notation because I wanted Victor and Alice to be watching a game; I'm not sure how well it actually turned out), took a while to catch up on tumblr, and then had to fight with Weebly's website editor to get my latest pages to display properly (it would NOT make a certain link blue for some reason). I did get them posted eventually: The Rabbit Hunt landing page and first part of the miniseries. Just -- ugh, that was frustrating.
Oh, and I managed to catch one of my nails in the clip that holds my house keys on my mini-pocketbook-thingy (I use it to store my bus pass). Managed to wiggle it out without just ripping it off, but it seriously looked like I was going to be stuck for a while.
Okay, positives, positives. . .I DID complete a chunk of maintenance that has been hanging over my head for the better part of a week. I DID get some replies pre-drafted for tomorrow's update on The Valice Multiverse. And I DID get a nice message from Auntie Keith saying I'd helped inspire her to enter a Big Bang fanfic event using her latest fanfic idea for "Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency" (TV Show). So yes, some good things happened.
. . .I'm still kinda grouchy. *sigh* Time to wrap things up and get to bed. Thunderstorms and possible flooding tomorrow, yaaay. . .wish me luck!
