crossover_chick: picture of Alice (Wonderland) in front of the swirling purple Wonderland tunnel (AMA: Alice down the rabbit hole)
The highlights:

-->Finished off another chapter of "Fixing You" -- Victor recovers from his Hysteria (and the wounds that put him in that state), he and Alice talk a bit about how Nell's insistence he be a silent son helped lead to him not wanting to "burden" Alice with his problems once he realized he wasn't quite over Bumby's corruption, and them squaring up to enter the Van Dort mansion. Next up -- THIRTEEN.

-->Went to see a house -- some bits were okay (kitchen, upstairs bedrooms), but the place stank to high heaven, the layout had been all mucked up by the current resident (what was supposed to be the living room was the dining room, a wall was taken out between two rooms to make a big TV room, there was a master bedroom in the basement (with a bed big enough you needed a STEPSTOOL to get into it), and both bathrooms were rather poorly put together) -- basically, it was too much work for the price, and we decided we could do better. Meh.

-->Played Sims 4 after we got home and had lunch -- Eric had another decent day at work, and he and Nikal attended the Spice Festival once she got home from her day. Nikal successfully choked down a plate of ultra-spicy food and won $100 and a T-shirt -- which briefly led to some hilarity with her pants turning INVISIBLE. XD I eventually managed to fix it once she got home and I planned a new outfit for her featuring the shirt. Still, that was a funny glitch.

-->What was a grey, drizzly day cleared up for just a little while in the afternoon, allowing us all to take walks! Nice to get some fresh air and sunshine, let me tell you. Only sad thing, guess whose period showed up at the tail end of it? *sigh* I didn't ruin my clothes too badly -- it was only just starting, so the blood was light and I was able to wash it out -- but still. At least now I know why I've been a little overtired lately...

-->Watched Helloween's latest Obscure II sets -- the B-movie horror just keeps getting better and better. Continuity is out the window, the voice acting is wretched, and the plot makes little sense. It is the epitome of So Bad It's Good. XD Helloween loves it (except for the controls, which I understand are fiddly as fuck), and never misses an opportunity to literally beat up his most hated character. :p Great LP -- I love him.

-->Watched a classic MST3K with dinner tonight -- Mom wanted to see the "Teenagers From Outer Space" episode, since a clip of the movie once made it onto "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" for a game of dubbing and she's been curious about it ever since. It's a classic Joel episode, featuring a movie made for $14,000 that only has "Teenagers" in the title to GET teenagers to watch it. Great riffing on a very silly movie.

-->Currently doing some RPing while browsing TV Tropes a little between replies -- for someone who's feeling a bit brain-farty because of her period and is pretty susceptible to TV Tropes even when she isn't, this is one heck of an accomplishment. Applaud me. :p

So yeah, pretty all right all around, I gotta say. Could have done WITHOUT the red curse, but what can you do. Back to the reply grind now -- night all!
