crossover_chick: a vampire version of Alice Liddell and a human Victor Van Dort kissing (SIMS: Vamp!Alice and Victor Smooches)
Me at 3:15 P.M.: Okay, got my new songwriting mod in, restarted to activate my new increased vampire experience thanks to MC Command Center -- time to do a quick adjustment to the Van Dort house, then plan out Emma's birthday! Shouldn't take more than an hour.

Me at 6:15 P.M.: Oh crap, Mom just called me for supper -- okay, house remodel looks good, got the pictures, Alice is dark mediating -- I'll just save here. Maybe I can pop in for a quick "getting them to 5 AM" play session tomorrow before I do BioShock 2.

Yeah, I -- got a little into redoing the Van Dort house to make it easier for Alice to get to and from work until she gets her Sun Resistance. Wanted to give them a proper entrance hall, and buy them some better-quality stuff now that they have money, and revamp the bathroom a bit, and get them a tea set because darn it they're English. . . Also Emma aging up required me to give her some new clothes, and I went ahead and visited Manage Households to give Victor his proper ultra-pale skintone, and Alice some extra outfits for her Dark Form, and I gave Scraps a dragon costume just because dragon costume. . . I blame Deligracy and me watching her Vampire CAS review. It got me inspired to do a little bit of Sim makeover. ^^; At least the party went well -- I only got Silver, but that's still a successful birthday. And Emma's a pretty cute kid! I've made her a Rambunctious Scamp with the Active trait, given how much she was into dancing and toddling around as a toddler. She started with a major head start on all her child skills thanks to her excellent toddlerhood, AND she picks up skills faster too thanks to a bonus trait from maxing out all toddler skills! I am very pleased. :) So a long Sim session, but a fruitful one.

I did accomplish other things, though:

-->Usual room cleaning, along with Swiffering the living room for Mom because she's got a cold and wasn't up to doing any cleaning

-->Wrote the final short for "The Technicolor Phase" -- gonna let that sit for a little bit, then see what I want to adjust about it. Still think it could use more Alice-related stuff, but not sure how to get it in. . .hmmm. Maybe a change to the story structure is in order.

-->Watched Jay from the Kubz Scouts struggle and struggle to get the hardest ending in the new 60 Seconds DLC -- the "Cat Lady" ending, where your bunker is swarmed with cats but you aren't kicked out by them (basically, you have to get all the cats while not running out of canned food -- much easier said than done!). He succeeded in the end, happily, but it was an uphill struggle. *pats him*

-->Watched a few more episodes of Deligracy's "Vampires" LP -- she has a much different LPing style to The Sim Supply. She tries to do a story with her Sims, and goes into free-floating camera mode a lot more. Even gets arty with cuts and editing on occasion. I think I prefer James's "just grab a Sim and work toward one clearly-defined goal while hilariously failing at certain things" style, but Deli's at least created a pretty interesting storyline for her vampire family. And has apparently managed to get one of her Sims to kidnap a baby. O.o I'm assuming cheats were involved -- maybe she'll explain in a future episode.

-->Currently doing the RP thing, as you might expect on a Saturday night

So yeah, not bad for a day largely about bumming around the house because it was so freaking cold outside. Tomorrow's plans include: "Secundus 2" writing, BioShock 2, more Deli LP, Helloween's latest The Evil Within 2 set, making lasagna with Mom. Possibly even going outside since it's supposed to be a little warmer. Not much, but a little. We'll see.

Right now, though, I gotta get back to the RP thing. Night all!
