Okay Friday
Dec. 7th, 2018 11:41 pmChilly, and I got pulled off the project I keep meaning to get more done on, but I completed my other tasks, called the two people I most needed to call, and got a bunch of gifts on right away for one of the parishes, so score there, I guess. Can't say I wasn't productive, at least. GL remains a mess, but what can you do at this point other than try to work around it.
Evening's been good too -- got Chapter 10 of "Fixing You" completed! Seriously, the Cardbridge section is so CUUUUTE, it gives me all the feels. :D So that'll go up next -- well, Thursday night for Friday on the tumblr queue. (If I'm still going to be there for the foreseeable future, I'm going to keep up with it.) Tomorrow will hopefully be more of "The Technicolor Phase," and then I'll do some gift fic work next week.
I also watched Helloween's latest Doom 2016 set (Doom Guy continues to wreck shit -- including shit mission control doesn't want him to wreck, because he gives no fucks about using Hell as an ENERGY SOURCE WHAT WERE YOU IDIOTS THINKING. Also, one of the secrets in the game is a hidden area inside a vent that's graphically styled to look like a classic Doom level from the 90s. XD), and a Jay video about a new Yandere Simulator update (basically just checking out a pretty simple task about the leader of the light music club -- he saw his fans wanted him to do it, so he combined it with a challenge mod he wanted to try out). Good stuff, and it feels nice to be caught up on my subscriptions.
Especially since tomorrow is looking like a busy Saturday. I'm going out at least once with my mom for Christmas stuff, and there's a good chance I'm also going out with Dad later in the day. Also we're going to decorate the house for Christmas. Which -- I'm sure it'll be fun, but it's also supposed to be pretty cold tomorrow, so. . .at least I have a ready supply of hot chocolate here. (Actually had a cup tonight with Doom 2016.) And of course I still want to get my cleaning done if at all possible, so. . .yeah, lot to pack into one day. Still, if I can get my Christmas shopping done and out of the way, along with the decorating, it'll be worth it. And I'll still have Sunday to be a vegetable. :p
All right, on that note, I want to finish up my Valice Multiverse queue and empty out my inbox. I'm aiming to get to bed at least a LITTLE earlier than usual, because I figure if I can get myself up a little earlier, I'll have more time for all this running around. *nods* So yeah -- night all!
