crossover_chick: Doc in goggles and holding a big old plug with the words "feeling sparky..." (BTTF: feeling sparky/creative)
At work, I managed to get on another bunch of checks to help clear out some of the December backlog, and get that one iffy gift on. Plus I helped my coworker with some batches, which was nice. I still have some other checks to clear out (mostly ones with slightly different rules to the norm), but the number of checks with last year's date on them is going down fast. This pleases me, and my boss -- we're hoping to have it all cleared out by the end of the week. Fingers crossed!

At home, I got in a good workout, and did a solid chunk on Chapter 13 of "Fixing You." Barkis is being his usual asshole self, claiming that Alice isn't going to stick around -- Alice and Victor are telling him where to stick it. Granted, words aren't going to suffice with this guy, but it's still fun to write. :) And Victor's going to pick up a new weapon soon too, yay! Looking forward to it.

After that, I managed to fit in three YouTube videos:

-->The Sim Supply doing some mansion reno on Lady Bigwallet II's place, rearranging the upstairs bedrooms to fit in a room for third baby Banana. Also he ran into a weird "having a glass roof nearby will occasionally cause flooring on roughly the same level to abruptly cut out and make holes" glitch -- I'm really not sure what to make of it. o.O Good thing I don't have plans to change up Victor's greenhouse anytime soon.

-->The other half of Iron Seagull's The Sims Makin' Magic videos, where he had his character buy a house in Magic Town and show off all of the old shows you could perform. It was fun enough, though I was a little disappointed in the amount of actual "makin' magic" -- one spell, and one charm which he only showed the backfire of. He said in the video he bought the pack mainly for the roller coasters and mini-golf and carnival stuff, but -- meh. Guess I'll have to look elsewhere for my Sims magic fix.

-->Atop The Fourth Wall's latest episode -- a Batman/Aliens crossover.

Yes, as in the Xenomorphs.

No, Linkara was not actually able to dig up any information as to why this thing exists.

The truly weird part, though? It's actually not that bad. The plot's kind of contrived, but it works surprisingly well as both a Batman comic and a horror comic about the aliens. Linkara only covered Issue #1 this time, which set up the story and left our heroes buried in an old temple, with two Xenomorphs lurking outside -- I'm looking forward to when he does Issue #2. I want to see how it all plays out.

And I just finished up my Valice Multiverse queue -- time to clear out the inbox and hit the sheets. Hopefully this week stays pretty decent. I'd like that from my first full week of work. *nods* Night all!
