crossover_chick: Doc in goggles and holding a big old plug with the words "feeling sparky..." (BTTF: feeling sparky/creative)
For a definition of "getting it done" that allowed me to lounge around in my pajamas til about noon again. . .but! Things accomplished:

-->Got my room cleaned up, which is good -- that's settled for another week.

-->Got my taxes done -- no major issues and a decent refund on the way. And only took just over an hour, yay.

-->Watched an OXtra video about boss fights that gave you the feels, this time featuring commenter suggestions. Popular ones included Papyrus from Undertale as he won't ever stop believing you can do better than murdering everyone, and Paarthurnax from Skyrim as he's an excellent mentor to your character and fighting him feels like going up against your chill granddad. Fortunate for us all that both these fights are optional!

-->Played BioShock Infinite: Burial At Sea Chapter 2 -- redid the trip through the bathysphere service bay a little more competently this time, at least when it comes to getting rid of enemies (got a bunch of them together and gassed the lot this time around). I DID end up wasting my lockpicks on a door that I didn't need to unlock -- turns out it went to the same place as a coded locked door that I'd already found the code for. *grumbles* But I got my CO2 scrubber, and was able to make my way back around to the Test Drive area and pick up Old Man Winter. Where I proceeded to die thanks to a Splicer invasion -- fortunately it had checkpointed very recently, and I was able to use more knockout gas arrows to take care of the problem more efficiently (and then loot). I also found all the coded messages I was looking for, which led me to a secret room in the Manta Ray Lounge (lucky I'd already cleared it out!) where Frank Fontaine kept all his "identity quick-change" stuff. Currently parked on the stairs in there (thanks to a convenient checkpoint there), ready to go collect some upgrades I found for Old Man Winter and go back and open a safe I found in the service bay (now that I've managed to pick up a BUNCH of lockpicks, yay). And then we'll get back to the actual plot. :p

-->Got my workout in -- usually Saturdays are my break day, but I didn't work out either Thursday or Friday thanks to exhaustion and stress, so I needed to catch up today. Gotta keep active!

-->Watched Helloween's next Secret of Mana 2 set -- after many trials and tribulations, such as being told she has to save the world from the Priest of Light Exposition and being axed in the face multiple times by goblins in the Cave of Waterfalls, Angela and company have defeated the first boss and rescued the Mana spirit of Light -- who has given Angela the ability to use magic at last! Though she didn't actually level up enough to USE it until she and her companions had been knocked out and captured by the beastmen, escaped with the help of the friendly Hawk (who then got left behind by the very boat he directed them to), traveled to the Free City of Maia, beat up Rabbites and bugs and raccoons on the golden road out of town, and gotten trapped on a bridge by Angela's mother's troops and forced to fight two clockwork soldiers. Angela actually got the magic DURING the fight, which probably surprised everyone. Helloween then proceeded to gleefully spam it at every opportunity against all the enemies that were giving him trouble. XD At any rate, our heroes seem to be stuck for the moment -- the city at the other end of the road has closed itself off to outsiders thanks to Angela's home kingdom invading everybody for the Mana Stones, and their path to the dwarves in the Cleft of the Earth has been exploded by one of the clockwork soldiers. Fortunately, there's an alchemist in town who's created a big old cannon that might be able to help them. . .

-->Posted the latest "Scenes From Secundus" chapter -- my old Drabbles88 prompt, 62. Disease. It's been pretty heavily edited from its original version, so even if you've read it before, give it a shot again. Hopefully you'll find the new version better.

-->And just finished my VictorLuvsAlice queue, so that's complete at least. Yay.

Okay, time to start going on these comments sitting in the inbox. Gonna try to get to bed a little earlier tonight, though -- I've been a bit brainfoggy and tired a good chunk of the day. Not sure if a "getting up earlier than I ought to" thing or a "PMSing thing," but either way -- probably could use some more sleep. Night all!
