crossover_chick: a vampire version of Alice Liddell and a human Victor Van Dort kissing (SIMS: Vamp!Alice and Victor Smooches)
Commute in was slow for unknown, possibly "just because Monday" reasons; commute out was hampered by a fire truck forcing me to go out a different way than usual (and then leaving just as I got on the road I was supposed to be on!), and an unfortunate person stuck on the on-ramp onto the highway (luckily there was room to maneuver around them, but damn). Not a great day behind the wheel. Work was okay, though -- busy, but not to "oh cripes I want to set everything on fire just so I don't have to deal with it" levels. And the weather took a turn for the awesome -- from a cold, gray morning to a truly spring-like, sunny afternoon! Managed to get out for a short walk during my second break at work, and another longer one once I got home. Man, that felt good, especially with how miserable it's been lately. And tomorrow's supposed to be pretty good too, and even warmer. :) Fingers crossed it matches the forecast!

Evening has been pretty solid overall, honestly:

-->Got another good chunk done on "Secundus 2" -- mainly just some fun chatter between the gang as they make their way down the "main street" of Hill Valley. Including the reveal that Victor and Alice's upcoming baby will have Emmett or Emma as their middle name. :) Doc is suitably touched, and it helps to set up the kids of Doc, Marty, and Victor all having middle names referencing their best friends. :) Good stuff.

-->Watched another episode of The Sim Supply's Sims 2 LP -- we're back with the main Grumpert family now, and we have had The Drama. Namely because James decided to get Nina back to her cheating ways, and invited a new boy toy over for flirting --

And then kept flirting just as Eggton arrived home. Cue Nina's husband being absolutely furious and their relationship tanking, which is something James DIDN'T want. A good chunk of the episode was dedicated to him forcing them to make up. :p At least he's found a better way to keep the children amused -- Kidztube on the TV. That and Nina sneaking off to the Downtown garden maze to woohoo in the photo booth means the majority of the family are actually in mostly good moods most of the time! Doona even grew up into a Fortune-focused teenager without much issue! Poor Eggton's the only one suffering -- he's plateaued in his career as James doesn't have the time to dedicate to building his skills and friendships, he's still got a meh relationship with his wife, and he's put on some weight from too many hamburgers. Hopefully he can turn things around in the next episode focused on the family (James plans to switch between Brentnall at Sim State and the others in Pleasantview).

-->Watched this Deli video on an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING Sims 4 fanmade stuff pack. No, seriously, go watch that video and MARVEL at the effort MLys has put into this incredible "Pufferhead" pack. All inspired by one Harry Potter parody poster in the basegame. The sheer EFFORT put into the CAS and build/buy mode items (including beds that come in separate frames and bedding so they can be separately recolored!) is incredible. I love it and it SO makes me wish we had actual witches and wizards in the game. (Holding out hope for that latest Game Pack -- I believe the Expansion Pack they've planned would HAVE to be University if they have ANY sense of their fan base left.) You can find the Pufferhead Fanmade Stuff pack here, if you're interested. (And she has some other downloads too, if you're also interested in that. :D I may be getting myself some new custom content this weekend. . .)

-->And, inspired by that, I got all the pictures for my latest Newcrest Adventures update sorted. Obviously not getting any of the POSTS done tonight, but at least I'm prepared for the next four-part update. :P

Right now, though, it's time for me to answer some comments and then hit the sack -- earlier than I did last night. (Resisting the urge to look at one of MLys's collabs, which is a gardening fanmade stuff pack. . .and some of the other CC she's made. . .I generally play Sims once a week, my game is not set up to actually use much of this cool stuff out there. . .) Night all!
