-->Had one of my "waking up earlier than I wanted to because I had to pee" mornings -- managed to sort-of get back to sleep until 10, at least
-->Had to wait a half-hour after getting up for my Dad to pick up bananas (and milk for himself for cereal) so I could actually make my breakfast (he said five minutes -- I didn't think it would actually take THAT little time, but I didn't expect it to take as long as it did either)
-->Got a tiny splinter from the silverware drawer and had to find the tweezers to pull it out (fortunately it wasn't in deep, and it was very small so it came out in one piece -- Mom has one in her foot that's giving her real trouble)
-->Spent a good two hours changing my sheets, dusting, swiffering, and vacuuming -- had to be done, but that doesn't mean I had to LIKE it
-->Noticed my parents were doing their project of the day (painting the ceiling of our little porch -- Mom wanted it to be blue) and they seemed to be close to wrapping up around the same time I wrapped up my cleaning -- about 1:30 -- so I went on the computer and mucked around for a little bit, figuring they'd be done soon and we'd all have lunch.
Nope. Turns out that ceiling is one of those pebbly stucco ones, so painting it was more of a chore than they expected, so they still weren't finished by 2. And then when I went over and informed them of the time, Mom -- rather than heating up the leftovers from -- cooked NEW food (fried chicken, which normally I'm all for), meaning we didn't eat until almost 3. I'm really more annoyed with myself for not just fucking heating up my own goddamn lunch and eating on my own, but I know Mom likes us to eat together when she's at home, and I seriously thought they were going to be done a lot sooner. . . Also, while all this was going on, I had to kill a fly that got into my room, so that was fun
-->Managed to knock out three videos, already knowing gaming today is a bust -- another riddle video from Jay and Gloom (more silly crime riddles, with quite a lot of laughing from the two); a RT Gamer video on Hitman 2 (doing the same exterminator escalation mission OXBox did, only much LESS efficiently -- there was frog-hunting and quite a lot of men knocked out in bushes; also he did the "Sean Bean The Undying Returns" elusive target mission, which to my intense disappointment is the exact same mission as the first one, only with a new intro and a slightly different character model for Sean Bean. On the plus side, RT managed to kill him by distracting him with an explosive rubber duck -- which Sean Bean The Undying PICKED UP without a second thought. RT was able to just stroll out of the building and remote detonate it for a perfect kill. XD Granted, he then caused five million tons of chaos trying to find the security tapes, but still. XD); and an OXBox list on weird fighting games (such as a fanmade one using as character models pictures of the creators; one where people from different time periods fight each other and can actually cut off each other's arms, leading to some helpless kicking from their opponent; and one about battling construction vehicles that so DESPERATELY wants to be an anime it hurts). So that's something out of the Watch Later queue
-->Went out on my walk, since it was a gorgeous day outside -- 5 times around the neighborhood, as is standard. Certainly can't complain about getting my exercise
-->ALMOST got roped into going shopping with Mom, but Dad decided to go with her instead when they decide they're not going to start painting the floor of the porch and I got to take my shower instead. Cue me trying to muster up some inspiration to write and instead getting sidetracked onto "Not Always" before they come home and I have to help put away the groceries
-->After supper, watched Helloween's latest Secret of Mana 2 set -- Helloween managed to FINALLY navigate through the Queen of Reason's maze-like castle -- only for Koren to apparently kill the Queen and steal the Mana Sword, turning it evil (after a brief struggle). He leaves our heroes and their fairy alive because he's a bit dim and wants them to witness the end of the world. Angela and team of course immediately go out to stop the end of the world by defeating the God-Beasts unleashed by the destruction of the Mana Stones. First one Hells chose was the God-Beast of Light, and ooof, what a fight! Not only did the monster have lots of HP, they also had a powerful, painful attack that also Moogled our unfortunate heroes, AND Helloween had to put up with the AI being a bit dim and refusing to stop using their special attacks until they hit -- which can get real spammy when they keep going after a boss that's in mid-teleport. They eventually managed to destroy it -- but the God-Beasts scale as you take them down, meaning I don't think Helloween's in for a particularly good time. . .
-->Never found the inspiration to do any actual writing, but I did at least get the next "Scenes From Secundus" chapter up -- Gigs's Christmas 2012 fic, Please Don't Leave Me. Again, it's been edited from the original version -- and I feel I should warn for pet death, as the thrust of the fic is Victor comparing Ferdy to Scraps. . .which leads to him remembering how Scraps died. Fun! But hey, if you're in the mood for a bit of angst. . .
-->And now I'm doing some of the RP thing on Valice Multiverse, having sorted my queue for Victor Luvs Alice. Still gotta answer the comments in my inbox. *sigh* I just -- the real problem here is that I'm PMSing and thus all of this is irritating me EVEN MORE than it usually would. And that's not doing my concentration any favors either. I keep wanting to escape from my bad mood by looking at stuff that doesn't relate to the stuff I feel I have to do.
Anyway. Gonna clear out the inbox, and -- I dunno. Maybe I'll end up going to bed a little early because the other thing that PMS does is take away my energy. I am not enjoying this weird trend in May for me to have kind-of-stressful weekends. Maybe the next one will be better. . .at any rate, we'll see what happens tomorrow. Night all.
