Ugh, Monday
Jul. 1st, 2019 11:28 pmJust kind of one of those days -- slow traffic on the ride into work because of a crash; more phone calls at work about people getting letters they shouldn't, plus fun with the website, plus the staff meeting that ate up my lunch hour (though I DID sneak in a walk in the afternoon with one of my other breaks); some bad drivers on the way home from work. Not my worst day, but not my best either. At least the weather was fairly decent -- hot, but not particularly muggy. That's supposed to change tomorrow, though, so I'm glad I've got my AC running tonight.
Evening's been a little scattered, but for the most part okay:
-->Topped up my phone while I was thinking of it, so I don't have to worry about that again until October
-->Wrote some more on "Secundus 2" -- just Victor observing the Doc/Clara fluff, then having a fluffy moment of his own watching Alice, while Marty tries to remind them that hey, they have a picnic to clean up here. XD They'll be dropping Clara off at her house shortly, and then the group can tease Doc to their hearts' content. :p
-->Watched a RabbidLuigi video on some of the hardest-to-get optional endings in videogames (some that are worth it, some -- not so much. . .); a CallMeKevin video on his Sims 4 family (he has a SHOCKINGLY well done Drugs Mod in his game, and First Name Pickens -- the teenage alien son of Jim -- is now a coke addict and dealer himself. Kevin's game, everyone!); and the next episode of "Rags To Riches Island Edition" from The Sim Supply (Banana is SLOWLY improving her lot -- she has some fencing now, a counter for her kava bowl, a BBQ pit for slow-roasting food, and even a bit of decorative plant life! Plus she's found some buried treasure while beachcombing, and managed to improve the health of the island she lives on so now it looks prettier. Progress!). All good stuff~
-->Got all my pictures for this week's Newcrest Adventures update sorted, and got my "keeping the queue going" rough draft of the first post in place. Looks like another 3-and-a-half update for Egg Day. :) Of course, what I'm really looking forward to is growing up Marlene in my next update -- that's definitely happening this long weekend. :D No more Independent toddler, yay~
And that's about it for today. Just letting my room cool down so I can have a decent night's sleep. Hopefully tomorrow won't be too rough. . .at least I'll have a normal lunch again. *nods* Night all!
