Just Another Manic Monday Again
Sep. 16th, 2019 11:20 pmLooking over mailing file issues, calling people about pledges, trying to figure out billing schedules. . .yeah, another busy Monday. At least it made the time go by. . .and that's not even getting into my Mom and Dad having a busy and frustrating day (having to get new paint for our new kitchen chairs; having problems with trying to sign up for, then cancel, the ESPN streaming service; and then Mom having a bad night at work). Come on, world, I don't want another tough week. Just fighting the traffic getting home was rough enough.
At least my evening had some nice stuff:
-->Got in some nice walks at lunchtime and after work -- enjoying it while I can! The sun's getting pretty low and bright in the five o'clock hour these days. . .
-->Wrote some more on "Secundus 2" -- Barkis has basically told Buford "yeah, the whole point of hijacking this train was to kill you and your idiot nephew along with Jennifer and Clara because I hate you all." XD And now he's trying to grab Victor to pull him either onto or under the train, so there's that. Drama! I'm enjoying writing it. :p
-->Watched the extra-long, It's Real This Time I Swear finale to "Rags to Riches Island Edition" on James's channel! Can be summed up as "James sells all remaining stock in store, both food and random furniture pieces; gets Banana to hook up and have a baby with Canoe at the last minute; ACTUALLY PAYS ATTENTION TO COLUMN as he wants her to actually gain some skills before becoming a Spellcaster." XD Also he finished renovating the retail store house, and even downloaded a nice little starter home from the Gallery for the actual home lot, as he had to go back there so Banana could actually give birth to her and Canoe's child -- Plahn Tayne. XD So yeah, with all stuff sold, and Column having gained some actual potion-making experience with the kids' science table as a child (I REALLY need to start doing more with the child activities we actually have), the LP is finally over. We bid adieu to Banana and her husband Dermak (yeah, James also finally married them), and will soon say hello to Column and Ticket, Spellcaster and Familiar! Once James ages her up of course.
-->Finished getting all my pictures ready for my own Newcrest Adventures update and got two posts prepped -- all the pictures uploaded and in the right order, and the tags I put on each one sorted. Maybe not as ahead as I'd like to be for a four-part update, but I figure, if I can get at least the pictures up, I don't have to worry about that bit of the process. . .also stuck some more posts for later reblogging into my drafts. Trying to keep on top of it all!
-->Left a review on a friend's fanfic -- long chapters means it takes me a while to get the reviews sorted, but I know she appreciates them. :)
And now I have to answer some comments and go to bed. Sleep is important and all that. Hopefully tomorrow will be a little less stressful. . .we'll see. G'night all!
