crossover_chick: Doc in goggles and holding a big old plug with the words "feeling sparky..." (BTTF: feeling sparky/creative)
Yes -- in addition to getting my taxes done (which took about an hour, hooray for having pretty simple taxes), I also ended up doing the laundry after I took my sheets over to the hamper and noticed it overflowing. Figured I could throw all my stuff into a load, then just ended up getting it all sorted because why not? My parents were out most of the day antiquing (came home with some medicine bottles and a root beer cone -- no, not like an ice cream cone, like a STORAGE CONTAINER. Apparently a lot of liquids came in cones for a little while during the -- 40s, I wanna say? I need to look this up), so SOMEBODY had to do it.

I also:

-->Took the car and got myself lunch at the Tropical Smoothie Cafe that's opened up across the main drag from us -- a bit tricky to drive over there and back, but I made it! Got a chicken apple bacon flatbread and a "Blueberry Bliss" smoothie -- not bad! Decent taste, and I appreciated that the flatbread had some thickness to it. I'd try it again -- though maybe in the summer, when I could walk there and not have to worry about parking the car.

-->Watched the first episode of "Vein Pursuit," like I'd been planning! Even if it took WAY longer than anticipated because I kept having to stop for various reasons (the aforementioned laundry, my parents coming home, making hot chocolate because I was cold). But I got through it -- everyone's a little awkward in this first episode, and sometimes it's hard to follow the action, but I'm invested in this story of a ragtag group of vampires chasing down a courier to save them from the traitor stalking them. Even if I'm wondering how they even GOT past episode one, as -- well, a LOT happens on this first leg of the road trip. . .

-->Played Bloodlines, because -- well, you have to after watching that, don't you? And I have officially finished off all the Chinatown side quests! Alice finished off the hengeyokai with Yukie at the fish market (I didn't even die during the fight!); got the two retired hitmen to start talking to each other again; and successfully infiltrated Kamikaze Zen and set up the final Schrecknet hub. (Though it took me a few tries to get through the offices fast enough and not get caught by the guards -- Obfuscate is awesome, but it doesn't work if you bump into them!) Also finished the posters quest, because why not, I had all the stuff and there's an XP point at the end. We are officially prepped for endgame -- time to go save a professor or two! Now I just have to write up my notes. . .

-->Got the next chapter of "Secundus 2" posted: A Real Wild West 'Town' I hope you all enjoy -- we're starting out with the actual plot here, and an adorable reunion between Victor, Doc, and Marty. :) Seriously, that moment gives me such warm fuzzies. . .I may love Valice, but the friendship these boys have is worth celebrating too.

-->Managed to fit in one other video -- Jay doing a self-imposed challenge in 60 Seconds Reatomized, where he couldn't leave the bunker for any reason -- he could only survive on the supplies he brought, or which he traded for at the door. First run only made it 15 days as Jay foolishly refused to give a group aid -- only for them to steal ALL his stuff in a rage; second run actually lasted 54 despite Ted and Dolores being sick all the time (with Ted dying first). So that was interesting!

-->And currently I'm working tumblr queues and RP, as is usual for a Saturday night. *nods*

So yeah, not a bad day! All the important adult stuff out of the way, and a good dose of vampires. :p Tomorrow's to-do list -- catch up on my CallMeKevin and GrayStillPlays videos, finish up my tweaks to the McFly house in Sims 4, write some more on "Secundus 2." Workable, I'd say! :) Night all!
