crossover_chick: Doc in goggles and holding a big old plug with the words "feeling sparky..." (BTTF: feeling sparky/creative)
I mean, I had some annoyances at work (as detailed below), but the weather was nice, and I had a good, productive afternoon at least --

Work – Another mildly-busy day at work, with me running reports, going over a QC file for thank-yous, batting around an issue between two of our processors to try and figure out how to resolve it, doing more exceptions stuff, and putting on some last-minute Easter collection, all while trying not to get too pissed off with my coworkers chatting behind me. *sigh* Maybe not the worst day at work, but certainly not the best either. One more day!

Beanbags update – little hotter today, but the humidity remains at a comfortable level, so we did indeed do a few rounds. I had an amazing start (won the first game in three throws!), then slid downhill, while Dad started slow and ended strong, and Mom struggled to get anywhere – though she did get more seconds than thirds. Final scores were me W-2-3; Dad 3-W-W; Mom 2-3-2 – we’ll see if Mom can pull out another win tomorrow!

To-Do List

1. Get in a workout: Check – another night on the bike, another night with the GrayStillPlays compilation “Exposing every way to make $1,000,000!” I finished off the last of the “money runner” videos, got through a “coffee runner” video (where you are a disembodied hand guiding an ever-increasing line of coffee cups through filling, lidding, sleeving, and various upgrades while avoiding obstacles; it also features a “build your cafe” mini-game with the chance to design your own logo – Gray drew a man being savaged by an iguana), then watched most of a video on being a “cheater” (where you earn money for doing tasks ranging from “kissing your boyfriend while Dad isn’t watching” and “pranking a guy who tripped you in front of the elevator” to “forging a signature on a ten million dollar check” and “stealing a car and then running from the police” – all for $100 a pop). I imagine there’s at least one more game after this one – we’ll find out what it is tomorrow when we wrap up the final twenty-odd minutes!

2. Continue editing “Londerland Bloodlines: Downtown Queensland”: Check – Alice has (with Rabbit’s help) found her way back to the Last Round and reported on Paul and Hannah’s unfortunate demises and Jezebel’s fortunate one to Damsel and Skelter – and has learned in turn that THEY killed another member of the death cult themselves recently. Meaning that there’s a lot more work to be done before they can finally stop this plague from spreading! Alice is eager to help, especially after Hannah, but is thinking that it might be time to upgrade her arsenal...fortunately, a familiar face from the tutorial is swaggering in now, ready to point her toward a merchant that could be useful...

3. Keep up with YouTube Subs: Check – just GrayStillPlays tonight, with “This burger flies at 9999999999999 MPH,” aka Gray plays Mad Burger 3: Wild West! This is another one of those “launch a thing across a landscape and try to hit as many things to keep it going as possible” games, with the conceit being you’re a burger chef at a saloon, kicking a freshly-made burger across the West to the waiting sheriff. Along the way, the burger must use its various sauces to propel itself and try to bounce off as much stuff as it can, while gathering up all the bonuses (limes, money bags, various recipes showing how to improve the burger) and trying to avoid the bad stuff (like lassos, cow skulls, and hungry cowboys). Once the burger has gathered enough money, you take it back to the saloon and buy various bonuses for the burger – like magnets for attracting more stuff, horseshoes to increase its luck, a better kick for the chef, hats to protect the burger from harm, and vultures to fly it along. You can also buy more stuff to put ON the burger, which then starts a minigame where you have to assemble the burger, following the advice of the recipes you’ve collected to make a burger with a higher max speed and a better speed-up bonus so your burger goes faster and farther. Gray of course loved all this nonsense and made sure to buy every “stuffing” he could so he could assemble the fastest burger in the West! And he succeeded, creating a burger so fast that it levitated off the screen at the end and refused to land. Meaning that the game could never end, meaning Gray broke another one. :p As you might imagine, he was very happy with this outcome. XD

4. Get my tumblr queues sorted: Check and check, w000~

Victor Luvs Alice – Finished off the tags on my update reblog of my previous “Tiny Town Challenge” post (talking about how I have settled on a multifandom version of the challenge and how I want to add community lots to the wider world representing the fandoms on display too) and put that in the queue for tomorrow, along with a Corpse Bride gifset of Victor watching Emily dancing in the woods for Thursday; an Alice: Madness Returns gifset of Alice landing in Cardbridge for Friday; a reblog of the Valice(r) wedding song “Lights Down Low” for Saturday; and a reblog of my “Valice(r) Wedding Masterpost” (updated with links to the Valicer wedding from last year and a picture of the two wedding certificates over the dresser with the wedding snaps in Victor and Alice’s room) for Sunday! :D So I am SET for the rest of the week, yay.

Valice Multiverse – Put one anon ask in the queue, with the anon commenting on how they are not gender neutral as a non-binary person, but rather gender evil. Alice was like “and what exactly does that mean?” while Victor asked Smiler their position on the gender axes (gender chaotic). XD Fun!

Yeah, not a bad afternoon at all -- especially with getting my VLA queue completely set for the rest of the week, straight through the Valicer Wedding Anniversary on Sunday. :D And now it is time for me to head to bed and get some sleep, since I still have one more day of work to get through tomorrow. Hopefully it will not be a clusterfuck! Night all!
