-TD: *picks him up* Heh -- cute little fella.-
He is, isn't he? His name is Johannes, after Johannes Kepler, German mathematician who created the three fundemental laws of planetary motion. We share a birthday. ^^
-HD: Like some tea, Johannes?-
-TD: His whiskers kind of go everywhere, don't they?-
They do. He's a handmade one-of-a-kind, straight from Narbonics labs. With a prehensile tail!
-OD: *tentacles bend it a bit* What, Jules? No, I think Shaenon herself has said it's a fairly poor representation of a gerbil. . . .-
Let's not be hasty -- I have Google right here, let's look 'em up. *googles pictures* Hmmm. Besides the seal points, it's not that bad.
-HD: They're Gerbillus Narbonic breed, that's why they look different.-
LOL. I'll get you guys pictures in a bit. Eee, he's so cute. . . .
-DW: Now all you need is a white plush kitty in a red coat for Krosp.-
I know. I'll have to be on the lookout. . . .
-OD: So that's it for another birthday, hmm?-
Not quite -- my Auntie Ann has another present for me. It seems that, the first time she bought it, she heard something rattling inside, so she brought it back and got another one. Not sure what it is. . . . We'll see Friday.
I was exhausted yesterday, so I skipped Sims with the intention of playing on Thursday instead. So today, we have a Strangetown update from Wonderland. Not too much happened -- I had to keep the Sims from mobbing their tea set, of course. They had a nice breakfast together (well, those of them without early-morning jobs).

March kept Dinah occupied for a bit -- she spent a lot of the day waiting for hugs that never came. Poor Dinah.

Alice played with her a bit, though, and Hatter got her closer to being housebroken.

Both Dormy and Cheshire met new people -- Dormy brought home Komei from his job as a golf caddy;

And Cheshire brought home Adelaide after getting a promotion to Paramedic.

He also took a call from another friend, who's name currently escapes me. Margaret?

There was plenty of in-house socializing as well. Alice and March had some tea together;

Alice played red hands with Dormy;

Hatter and Dormy joked around together;

And Hatter and Cheshire had a nice chat about their monetary situation.

Speaking of which, Dormy made a Sir-Bricks-A-Lot that sold for 36 simoleons -- money they rather desperately need. Alice sold a painting later (well, more accurately, Hatter sold it for her) for 4 simoleons.

There was also plenty of skilling -- Hatter studied cleaning, Cheshire got logic from the new telescope, and most everybody had a turn cleaning the bathrooms today.

Hatter also helped Alice with her homework -- not sure how much help a Wonderlander would really be, but they're all she has to turn to. :p

Basically, par the course with this family.
-VD: At least one muse got what he wanted today.-
-RPD: *switches from corporal to incoporal and back, grinning* In spades.-
I DID write something on both "Gift and Curse" and "Time Mix-Up" -- it was just kind of busy at the store, so I couldn't keep up my usual level.
-VD2: Suppose that's fair enough. Plan to type anything now?-
More "Marty In Wonderland," what else? Though I may start on either a new drabbles88 or the "Boy Genius" aside.
-TD: Bring them both up and we'll see which one wins.-
-HD: That is, if she can ever tear herself away from her new Narbonic book.-
Oh, wait until I can order the other two. Remember, Phil Foglio did a bonus story for one. . . .
