“Are Christmases around here usually white?”
Clockwork looked over at RiftVictor, frowning. “I’m the wrong person to ask. I’ve only been around since May.” One eyebrow went up. “Why do you want to know?”
“I heard the song on the jukebox,” RiftVictor shrugged. “I got curious.” He blushed faintly. “We almost always had a white Christmas back in Burtonsville. I just – well. . . .”
Clockwork patted his back. “Having snow would make you feel more at home?” RiftVictor nodded shyly. “Well, then – I guarantee this year’s Christmas will be white.”

Yeah, it's a chilly one today, folks. We had a dusting of snow this morning. Not much, and it's all melted now, but still. Nippy.

Not much else to report at the moment. New wanderers have entered the Rift, people are asking questions at Dear Multiverse, Clockwork's staying cool. Or cold, as it appears to be freezing in Chicago lately. Also, RiftVictor's application got sent to the mods, so keep your fingers crossed there. Not that I don't have a backup plan for just putting him in the Nexus, but still.
