Apparently my virus software had expired and I hadn't noticed because they were still doing updates to the old version of the program. God, that's annoying. But my computer's working again, so that's good.
-VD2: Of course, now we have to consider the possibility of your backups being infected.-
I'm aware. >.< The guy gave me some tips for dealing with my USB drive, just in case. And I've been half-tempted to buy a new one for a while now, so. . . .
Anyway, not too much to report. Slow day at work -- a nice change from the manic business of yesterday. I've also finished the first draft of "I'll Make a Man Out Of You."
-D: Really? That was fast?-
Yeah, it's just a oneshot. Your embarrassment shall be brief.
-VD: Unless it expands during the typing. . .-
It shouldn't. Not by much, anyway. I've also been picking through my novelization of The Dream Team -- a Chris Lloyd movie that features him, Michael Keaton, Peter Boyle, and Stephen Furst as mental patients who get lost in New York and have to figure out a way to save their doctor after he's attacked. The novelization is a good one -- it doesn't deviate too much from the movie we see, and it gets nicely into all the characters' heads. Good times.
Well, I'm off to explore the web some more, and enjoy having my computer back. Dad actually let me use his last night, which was really nice of him, but -- it just felt off, ya know?
