A Most Nonproductive Saturday

Watched Scott Pilgrim Vs The World with the trivia track (would you believe Michael Cera and company actually played a lot of the songs?), which led to me looking it up on TV Tropes, which led to me finding Channel Awesome fanfic, which means the day was pretty much over before I even realized it. ^^; At least I made sure to answer today's
charloft prompt with both Lucy and Butterfly Boy.
However, this doesn't mean I have nothing to share, as late last night I decided to make some macros and posters! Let me show you them:

This one and the next were inspired by the stress and health chapter in my psychology book -- a lot of the first section was devoted to poor lifestyle choices. And when it comes to smoking deaths, you don't get much more dramatic than Mayhew, poor guy.
-TTV: He really deserved better.-
*patpat* He's happy down in the afterlife, I'm sure.

There was also mention of alcohol abuse, so yeah, Barkis had to make an appearance too. The second title originally ended with ". . .and don't drink from goblets next to bottles marked with a skull and crossbones ARE YOU HIGH" -- because really, stupid much? I changed it when it occurred to me that Barkis probably never even glanced twice at the bottle before he grabbed the goblet. (Hell, thinking about it, he probably never glanced once.) Still stupid though.

The screencap comes from FFWF's screencap playthrough over here. I just saw this pose, the song popped into my head, and I started sniggering and couldn't stop.
-HD: *amused* He DOES look like he's dancing! Perhaps it could be a new craze.-
Dancing until your head explodes? I've seen weirder.

Perhaps not as funny as the others, but I did want to make at least one poster with that image. Besides, it's good life advice for dealing with Alices.
-TTV: I'm quite sure it is.-
And that's my contribution to the world for today. Now I'm going to go stalk the forums over at American McGee's site again.
-M: Why don't you just register already?-
Because they don't like people who like the Tim Burton movie. I think I'd make some heads explode if I admitted to shipping Alice with a Tim Burton character.
-VDM: . . .But Corpse Bride was DIRECTLY MENTIONED in the artbook as an inspiration for at least one piece--
You think that would matter to the Fan Dumb?
-VDM: Good point.-
