Delayed Wedding

I decided I wanted to move Felicia in first -- both to get whatever cash she had on her, and to see about changing her hairstyle and clothes in preparation for the wedding. So, here's Wednesday and Thursday for EVL and his new live-in fiance:

Wednesday starts off with robot shenanigans. Gotta get those badges up, after all.

A check of the mailbox yields a coupon for a free meal! That'll be useful.

As it's Emmett Victor's day off (the first of two), studying and reagent-making are the order of the day. To my annoyance, I discover that Emmett Victor's new neutral status prevents him from making more lights for his house. Another reason to get Felicia over here.

I have him perform the "create pretty insects" spell to get him some points back toward the "good" side of the scale, but I think my abuse of Magivestium means he's gonna be a neutral warlock for a good long time.

Talkin' planes with Lee. EVL's finally getting some male friends, hooray.

Best event of the day? Getting his Gold Robotics badge! Now, once he and Felicia are all settled in properly, he can start making robots for his robot shop!

In the meantime, he'll sell this Munchiebot for a tidy profit.

Thursday opens with some treasure-hunting -- unfortunately, all he found was a rock. I made him fill in the hole -- he can dig up rocks in a more secluded corner of his lot.

Tinkering is EVL's One True Hobby, but Cuisine is a close second -- he has the membership card to Sue's Secret Kitchen and everything. And, as seen here, he can serve a mean cheese platter. I kind of like the character that's developing from these. His personality has him as a nice neatnik, but he's interested in crime, he has a passion for Tinkering, but he also likes good food.
-D: What exactly is your backstory for this character?-
He's the son of a successful crime boss (I guess a supervillian in the game, but I'm making him a Mafia prince), who wants to show his father that building an empire that brings in tons of money to the family can be done the legitimate way.
-M: Good thing Sims don't have antitrust laws.-
LOL, yeah, something like that.

Welcome, Felicia! Ready to stay a while?

EVL certainly is. After some flirting, he asked her to move in, and she accepted. Some stats on Felicia:
-->She brought in $3,969 to the family (not too bad)
-->Her One True Hobby is Nature
-->Her personality is weird -- 0 Sloppy, 3 Shy, 3 Lazy, 3 Serious, and 10 Nice
-->She's a Family Sim, with original turn-ons underwear and grey hair

Felicia makes herself at home on the computer, looking up Arts & Crafts stuff (guess she likes that too), while EVL practices cooking with his rather dangerous-looking old-timey stove.

Felicia downs some ReNuYu Porta-Chug while I change her turn-ons to Witch and blond hair to fit her beau. I also give her Knowledge as a secondary aspiration.

Mutual magicings! EVL's creating some reagants for himself while Felicia makes more lights for the house.

And by nightfall, we have a lit house! Turns out there's wall scones and ceiling lamps in addition to the floor lamps -- it was just a matter of having Felicia whip up a few. Hooray for free lighting!

EVL and Felicia decide to celebrate.

Felicia: I'd like to know why the hell I was classified as a "help woohoo."
Damned if I know, Felicia. As it is, when they had their fun this time around, I got the video again -- bit of a surprise, but I don't mind watching it. I'd forgotten Felicia counts as a townie, and she got to have her first woohoo all over again as a result. :p Hey, no problems here.
Okay, and I've got to go answer some
charloft prompts and tags -- damn you, TV Tropes! And general laziness on my part!
