Because I felt like playing the family today. Let's see how they're doing in their new house:
Tuesday

A quick shot showing a change I made to the house -- since that room Tom's in is the "music" room, I figured it ought to have the piano. So I traded it and Lorina's play table.

Tom succeeds at catching pretty fireflies.

Felicia: Business must be booming if we're actually eating food instead of taking advantage of my incredible super-chair.
Actually, it's more that all three of the ones that need to eat were hungry at once, and I figured I might as well have EVL make pancakes.

Nommin' and jammin'

For some reason, EVL had to go all the way over here to release the fireflies. Maybe he felt they'd be most at home here?

Lorina practices niceness before heading off to her first day at school. We've gotten her up to 3 Grouchy -- I'm gonna try for 4 Grouchy before leaving her alone. That'll make her capable of interacting with most people, and it'll give the experience of working with a Grouchy Sim I didn't make expressly for that purpose.

EVL does some tree trimming. Still working on that Gold Gardening Badge!

For now, though, there's a store to tend to. Felicia, who has the day off, goes along to help out, and they indulge in a slow dance before opening up shop.

Felicia thinks there's nothing sexier than a man restocking toy robots.

Felicia lends a hand on the sales floor, and earns herself a Bronze Sales badge! Hooray!

Unfortunately, idiot me then put her on the cash register. Fortunately we didn't lose any stars from her poor performance, and EVL kept things cooking with his excellent sales skills.

Uh, EVL, showing off the merchandise works a lot better if you don't have your hand in the customer's face.

Felicia just cast a Benemoodus Populus. For a moment, I though the "refreshing glow" was lingering on her -- then I realized it was her magical aura. She's back to Infallibly Good!

Felicia does a bit of restocking while EVL handles the cash register. A much better arrangement than the one I had before.

EVL is one of my most effective salesmen. He's just clearing out his store. (Of course, it helps that he has a rather low volume of merchandise.)

At the end of the day, all the robots have been sold, and Felicia's gotten herself a Bronze Cash Register Badge. Still, I think I'm gonna keep Tom as my primary helper in the shop.

Back at home, EVL starts working on making a little army of Toy Robots to refill his shelves.

While Felicia stocks back up on some magical reagents. (Specifically, lots of mystic dust.)

Lorina comes home and wants to play with her daddy. First, a game of red hands!

Then she asks him to swing her around, though I don't know why he felt the greenhouse was the best place to do it.

I really don't think puke is good fertilizer, EVL.

He gets daddy points back for helping Lorina learn to study, though.

Lorina jumps rope and earns some body skill while Tom, home from work, calls up his pal Meadow and makes best friends.

Then finally gets his Gold Robotics badge making robots for the store! Huzzah!

Felicia, meanwhile, is still working on her own pottery aspirations. One day, one day. . .

Then, during an early Wednesday morning bath, pop! One step closer to the kidlet!

And we end on another auspicious event -- EVL maxing out his magical skill! He is now the magical equal to his wife! :D This also means I may start buying reagents rather than making them, given that now he has no more reason to earn skill. But maybe not. We'll see.
. . .Oh crap, I just realized that his original cat's probably gone because they moved houses. Whoops. >.< Ah well, I guess I'll just have to name the new one "Greebo 2" or something. No biggie, really.
-D: They certainly lead very productive lives.-
They do! I'm looking forward to meeting the new baby.
-RPM: What's this one going to be called?-
I was thinking either Nell or William -- second kid's being named for CB characters. Third kid will be either Marty or Jennifer, for BTTF.
-RPD: Do you even have room for three kids?-
I'll probably hold off on #3 until Lorina's grown up more and thus can get into college, freeing up her room. Not like EVL and Felicia can't afford plenty of Elixir of Life.
Anyway! Nothing much else to report -- been icing my ankle, and the swelling's gone down a lot. Maybe eventually it'll be an ankle again. Right now, I've probably got stuff to do on tumblr, so later!
