All right, I'm back, and I bear presents! For my good friends:

Ael:

Sibs Will Be Sibs
“I’m not entirely sure you should have said anything about sibling rivalry to Clark, Marty.”
Marty glanced up at Doc as they returned to their home world. “What? Why not? It happens, Doc. I mean, you mentioned having a sister back in the good old days. Are you really gonna tell me you got along all the time?”
“No, of course not,” Doc said, shaking his head. “It’s just – well, he looked very, very worried there for a moment.”
“Of course he did – Jonathan is confirmed as having super strength, and if one baby has inherited at least one of his powers, it’s likely Laura will be showing something eventually too,” Alice pointed out. “Any sibling rivalry between them could involve large-scale property destruction.”
“I’m sure Clark and April will teach their children better than that,” Victor said, though his hands twisting themselves together proved his true anxiety over the subject. “Though, yes, I can see things getting broken by accident during an argument. . . .”
“That’s all the more reason to tell Clark about what happened between me, Dave, and Linda,” Marty argued, putting a point-making finger in the air. “When you add at least one super-powered kid into the mix, you need all the advance warning you can get. I mean, Jonathan’s handling things okay now, and I’m sure everybody’s really grateful for that, but that ain’t gonna last forever.”
“All right, all right, I defer to your judgement on the matter,” Doc said, holding up a hand. “I guess I thought Laura’s first Christmas party wasn’t exactly the best point to bring it up.”
“Yeah, well, ‘glowy time rock’ couldn’t resist making a small dirty joke, so. . . .”
“Please, let’s NOT get Dee asking more awkward questions.”

I'm pretty sure you can guess this was inspired by the Christmas party thread -- and Marty briefly worrying Clark over the fact that siblings don't always get along. The end line is a callback to the makeout session Dee stumbled upon that prompted Doc having to give her the sex talk.

Cadence Is Probably Getting One Too
“Pinkie? I wanted to ask you – oooooh!”
“Oh, hi Rarity! You like my new geode, huh?”
“It’s beautiful, darling! The crystals glitter like real gems! And I love the bright pink colors! That inner band right there matches your mane perfectly!”
“Yeah, that’s why Marble sent it to me as a Hearth’s Warming Eve gift. She said it reminded her of me, and our family – they’re the outer rock shell, you see, all solid and protective, and I’m the big fun loud burst of color inside!”
“That’s a very apt metaphor. . .and how is your family, dear? Things going well on the farm?”
“Yup! The geode crop is doing really super-de-duper-fantastic! Dad said that they should have the best Hearth’s Warming Eve they’ve had in a long time!”
“That’s wonderful! You know, I wouldn’t mind having one of these myself, they really are beautiful. Do think you could – why are you making such funny faces, dear? . . .I’ve just spoiled my Hearth’s Warming Eve present, haven’t I.”
“. . .Noooooo?”

Can't go wrong with "My Little Pony," right? Pinkie's sister's name comes from the chapter book Pinkie stars in -- I believe the other one is Limestone. I figured a geode would be a good present to come from a rock farm -- and it really DOES fit Pinkie and her family, doesn't it?

Couldn’t Just Order Up Some Nectar?
“We’re home! Flint, I – what the–”
“Great Scott! What happened here?” Doc gasped, eyes wide.
“Looks like a hurricane hit,” Marty said, staring around the yard. Branches littered the ground, the table and chairs were scattered to the four corners, and one tree was lying on its side, roots dangling from its bottom as its leaves rotted in the grass. “Did somebody have a crazy weather event while we were gone?”
“I don’t know!” Victor looked around wildly, feeling panic rise up within him. “Flint? Ferdy? Ferdinand?!” Oh no – nothing could have happened to them – he couldn’t lose his beloved pet, not after the trip he’d just been on –
Something barreled into him, knocking him to the ground. For a moment, Victor was ready to scream – then the familiar feeling of a fuzzy proboscis running over his face turned it into a relieved laugh. “Ferdy!” he cried, his frantic heartbeat slowing. “Oh thank God–”
“Oh thank God!”
Flint Lockwood’s face appeared in his peripheral vision, eyes wide with anxiety and hair in worse disarray than usual. “Victor, I’m so sorry about this!” he declared, windmilling his arms. “His food ran out the other day, and I tried mixing up a new batch, and – uh–” His eyes flicked left and right. “I think I got the ratio of sugar to water wrong.”
Victor looked up at his fellow scientist, then at his riding butterfly, who was now bouncing around crazily trying to knock Marty, Doc, and Alice over too. “Oh Flint. . . .” He groaned and rubbed his face. “Well, at least this explains what happened to the yard. . . .”

I know I can't go wrong if I write about Butterfly Boy and his riding butterfly. This is a scene that would come after the sequel, where Victor and Alice head out to Hill Valley for a little while, leaving Flint in charge of looking after Ferdinand. As you can see, it proved to be just a BIIIT much for him. XD (And yes, I will write said sequel one day. Let me finish "The Tale" first.)

Merry Christmas guys, hope you enjoy! Now I have to go do my tumblr friends. . .and after that, I think I'll try out a little Alice with my new controller. . .
