Another Lazy Saturday

crossover_chickI blame this on four things:
-->Sleeping until 11:30 A.M. (the perils of staying up late)
-->Watching my AT4W DVD with my brunch-type meal (watched the character origins featurette, good stuff)
-->More A:MR with the X-Box controller (in which I got pissed off as hell because I couldn't figure out how you activated the umbrella -- turns out it's hold the left trigger then push A, which in my opinion is made of stupid)
-->Playing with my iPad Mini (you cannot give me the ability to play Solitaire Blitz roughly whenever I want. You just can't. I will abuse it mercilessly)
Suffice to say I didn't get a lot done, though judging by how relatively quiet it is on Twitter and Tumblr, nobody else did either. :P End-of-year laziness, most likely. Everyone's gearing up for New Year's. Personally, I need to get back in the saddle with my fanfic -- I've been writing, but it's snippets from Pern Crash. Tomorrow, I've either got to get back with Chapter 24 of "Forgetting You" or do some uploading with "There's Always Tomorrow"/"Boy Genius." Or maybe a little of both, depending on how things go. I make no promises with how tomorrow runs.
Anyway, not much to report because of that. I guess I can say I am enjoying Alice with the controller -- I'm starting to get used to how to do the camera, and once I DID figure out how to do the umbrella, I managed to use it pretty effectively. I just need to keep practicing, I think. (I'm doing so on Victor's account, by the by -- I figure I can pick up a few lost collectibles while poking through the chapters and getting my groove in.) And having an iPad Mini is fun, even if I just do games on it. :P I'll probably try and expand my horizons with it later.
For now, though, I've got to get back on tumblr. Adventure and all that. G'night!
