Crossover Chick

I actually thought it was going to be halfway decent -- it got nice out this afternoon, I got in a walk, I'd made a new RP post I've been meaning to make for a while now. . .

But after yet another reminder that what makes me happy is wasting my life (and getting homework in the form of having to read a motivational book), apparently upsetting a friend because she set up a scene I wasn't comfortable with and I may have been more abrupt than necessary in telling her I didn't want to do it, being reduced down to one stupid lightbulb because my light's decided not to work properly, and now getting hit with a thunderstorm?

Yeah. Shitty day.

Curiously enough, I may have chosen the perfect fanfic to put up on this shitty day. Behold:

"Darkest Hour" on FF.net and AO3, featuring that one suicide attempt Victor made as a teenager.

Yeah, I have excellent timing for once.

The new Chapter 2 of "Forgetting You" is up! FF.net and AO3 It's not too different from the earlier version, but I did add in a bit of dialogue that at least partially addresses an issue someone somewhere may have had -- why people are willing to accept the Barkis parts of Victor's story as real and yet still reject the Emily bits. My explanation, as said by Bumby, is that Victor must have heard about Emily's murder as a boy and based his "hallucinatory" corpse bride on her, and that Barkis's return to town was a lucky accident. Basically he thinks the ranting and raving Victor, going on about the girl Barkis killed, scared Barkis enough to play along and drink the poisoned wine. Which ended badly for him. So yeah. Explanations no one asked for ahoy!

Weather has been absolutely miserable lately. Driving me nuts. >.< I wanna go out walking, damn it! And I have go fetch applications to businesses, too, and I'd like to get some exercise doing that. At least I've got my reference from one of my old teachers, so that's something. But still -- come on, weather, cooperate! It's almost June! Be nice!

At any rate, most of the day was spent futzing around on the computer -- catching up with tags and making a list of all the things forgotten_vows owns both in mallowhallow and on tumblr. I like to be organized. XD I've got a whole bunch of outfits for him to wear in Mallow -- good thing, since he should be doing a log soon with his troll friends. Followersplosion on tumblr has calmed some, though he's made some good friends out of it. Yay RPing~
