No, seriously, skedaddle, tomorrow's forecast is supposed to be clear and sunny! *shakehead* It was POURING for most of the day -- real Noah's Ark kind of stuff. And the wind has only recently died down. I lucked out that it was only misty when I went to catch the bus, but man, am I glad to have proper rain boots these days!

Work itself was all right -- nothing too exciting. Discovered I'd screwed up a step in the whole new "daily confirmation of payment" e-mails we've got going on by overwriting some queries, but that was quickly fixed and shouldn't happen again. Mostly it was a slow slog of looking up CAP duplicates -- meh. Welp, gotta be done, I'm afraid. At least I'll always have one thing to break up the day now with those confirm e-mails. Hopefully people appreciate them!

After work, Dad and I went up to Marshall's so I could get Mom's birthday present (plus some wrapping paper), then over to Stop & Shop for ice cream and a card. Got a really cute one that I think Mom will like, and her presents are stuff she specifically asked for, so Friday (her birthday) should go over well. :) Everything's all wrapped and ready to go!

And after that -- well, been a pretty quiet but good night. Got a bunch more done on Chapter 12 -- it helps that there's pretty good chunks of dialogue and such that I'm already happy with. And the bits that do need editing are coming together really nicely. Hoorah. :D I also finally got that super-long DW PM from this weekend answered, yay there. And I've been keeping up pretty well on tumblr -- and working on the next explanatory post for The Valice Multiverse. (Londerland Bloodlines, yay!) I even got some new pieces from the original AMA soundtrack on my Favorite Reading Music playlist. So yeah -- can't complain.

And now I should wrap things up and hit the sheets -- rare chance to get to bed a little earlier than usual. Night all, sleep tight! Fingers crossed for better weather tomorrow!
