DragonVale Rearranging

crossover_chickAfter seeing my friend Gigs make her park pretty and watching more of the DragonVale Beautification Project by Dreadtle, I decided to try and clean up my park a bit. This is now my first island, which I am naming Electric Trees:

Not too shabby, huh? That's the dragon library up there next to the nursery and breeding cave -- I figured it was a logical place to put it. I also have my hard-working treat farms -- I'm up to seven now. Six for regular food production, one for long-term food production (aka that one will handle the treats that take a day to grow). I'm calling this Electric Trees because the focus here will be on Plant and Lightning habitats -- I've got the appropriate boosts, may as well have the appropriate dragons. Island Two will be Flaming Rocks, with a focus on Fire and Earth. Island three is of course Elemental Sports, with the Colosseum, Race Track, Air, Earth, Fire, and Water habitats -- and I'll probably add Olympus habitats as well once I figure out how to breed those little guys. My fourth island, once I get the funds to summon it, will focus on Cold and Water dragons, and will be called Frozen Waves. And that leaves Air and Metal for Island five, and then we'll just take it from there! I'll probably have non-theme habitats on all of the islands, so long as they don't take "damage" from boosts -- after all, I need lots and lots of hybrids. I got my Thunder, named Fafnir (was gonna name him Thor, but once I saw that name I decided to just keep it), and Elsa/Capsaicin made a Lichen that I will sell. Borogoves and Tidepool are currently breeding either a Fog or Rain -- they have identical breed times, so I won't know until I see the egg.
I also got the Perch of Kairos today! Figured I could use the Questing. Stane got me some food on his first quest, which also netted me some gems from a goal. Slowly working my way up to the Epic Breeding Island! Litebrite's in the Colosseum, hopefully to win a Gold or Silver. Elsa got me a Gold in the Cold, so that was nice. All in all, it's been a very busy day, DragonVale-wise. Fun stuff. :P
Rest of the day wasn't much to talk about -- I watched DragonVale videos, played games, had lunch, all of that. I did apply to two jobs, though, so I'm feeling productive there. :) Didn't get any writing done though. . . Might have to write another mini-chunk of Pern Crash. I'm almost done with Dragonsinger, by the by -- one last ten-page chapter. I should read that tonight before bed. Even if every time I look at those books I desperately want a fire lizard. *shakes fist at McCaffrey's ghost*
At any rate, I do have tumblr things to do as well, so later!
