crossover_chick>.< Trying to keep your head tilted so gravity can help get it out is the worst. At least I seem to have cleared it now.
Anyway, happy MLK Day! It was pretty quiet around here, though I did finally get the last of my Christmas and birthday presents from my Auntie Anne (she was ill around the actual holidays) -- DVD of Hogfather (twice -- one's just the movie, the other is a double feature with a miniseries called Snow Queen which looks like a modern take on the fairytale), Blu-Ray of Going Postal, and $40. Not too shabby. :) I also got some excellent job leads, did a pass on Chapter 25 of "Forgetting You," and got Chapter 26 ready to go for editing (it was on my mind). So not too bad on the productivity front.
On the DragonVale front, I hatched my Fog egg -- named the resultant dragon Misty and moved her into the Water habitat on Elemental Sports. Today's mostly been focused around making money -- I've bred a couple of Ashes for sale, and I've been running a lot of races. Biff is a top earner in the Marshlands race -- good monetary rewards, and a couple of shards (which resulted in some repeats and more money). I'm trying to save up for island #4 and more habitats. I plan to try for a Sonic dragon overnight -- first one I'm going to hatch for the reward, then any further ones will be sold since according to Gigs they're worth a truckload. It seems Lightning-element dragons give fantastic payouts! Not that I'm complaining.
Not much else to say -- I gotta get caught up with Butterfly Boy's tumblring, so later!
