crossover_chickToday was a hormonal mess -- hooray for my period starting! >.< -- coupled with a brief argument with Dad about my job situation (I say brief because while it got nasty for a bit, it was only for a bit) and basically just not very good all around. I didn't write at all today because my motivation sailed clean away. Though for some reason I'm managing RPing. A bit anyway. Weird.
Not much going on in DragonVale partially as a result of that. Biff and Attar are breeding and either giving me a Smoke or yet another Tree. Gana and Echo are still busy with their Sun. I'm up to 17 million in dragoncash. I've built a Large Earth habitat for Moss, Biff (when he's done) and Ent to live on the Plant/Water island, meaning almost everyone is in their ideal habitat. (I should built two more Large Metals, but I figure I can avoid the expense for now.) I hatched my Forge dragon -- he came with the name Seam, but I renamed him Presto in honor of Presto-Logs and Doc's home-grown variation. :P I'm going to wait on getting a Light dragon until I unlock the Large Light habitat at the next level. I'm actually seriously thinking about keeping the Sun when it's ready because they are good money-makers. I might call him Solaris in that case.
At any rate, I need to get back to what I was doing -- and there are cute puppies on my tumblr app, so I need to fawn over them a bit too. Later all, and hopefully tomorrow will be better.

The Amethyst should finish incubating today, so I'll start my moneymaking then. Helen and Monty still refuse to give me a Blue Fire. I may need to get them to level 15 or something. :/

Gana and Echo finished their Sun -- I fed them both up to Level 13 and bred them again, but now we've got one of the 8-hour ones. Ah well, decent money at least. Nithogg and Tidepool briefly confused me with a two-hour breed time, but then I realized they were making an Air. XD Hopefully it'll sell decently!

Date: 2014-02-13 03:36 am (UTC)I've read that people have gotten it with their Love and Rose Dragons at Levels 11 and 12 (one at one and one at the other and I've seen it both ways) so as soon as my first fail is finished I'm going to get one of them to 12 as I think (read: hope) I have them both at 11. I wish you could see the levels when they're doing something like breeding or in the Colosseum.
I've also forgone the Blue Fire for now and have started with the Light and Plant breedings. First try will net me a Meadow that I'll keep and I'll start selling dupes from there. Tropius and Lumen are pretty low (like 10) so I don't forsee getting the 13-hour Luminous quite yet (though I could be wrong).

Both of mine are Level 11, so I might raise one to 12 after they're finished making whatever it is they're making right now. And I agree -- you should still be able to check on your dragon while they're doing stuff. Just grey out the "feed" button or something, Backflip.
*nodnod* Good idea -- and LOL, another sign of how far we've come. Now Level 10 is low. XD
