Limited Dragon Achieved

crossover_chickMy Moonstruck has just hatched, and been dubbed Emily (though she came with a pretty awesome name on her own -- Europa. Maybe I'll do that for the Moon dragon, if it doesn't come with its own awesome name). Have some pictures:
Here's the Moonstruck egg, along with the Moon egg Gana and Echo wanted me to have. That'll be hatching sometime tomorrow night. Currently I've also got a Forge and a Snow incubating, which will provide some good cash.
And Emily, not long after hatching! :) Isn't she a cutie? They have some truly great designs for the dragons in this game, seriously. She's living on the Cold/Air island since that felt thematically appropriate for the Moon habitat.
There's not much else to report from the game, save that Nithogg and Tidepool are making me a Coral dragon. Once I have that and the Magnetic, I'll have all the "standard" dragons from that list. Then maybe I can start adding Light hybrids to the mix. Or maybe I'll hold off just a little longer to get my islands looking halfway decent first, and figure out where I have the most room for new habitats.
There's also not much to report from my life -- it snowed yesterday, dumping a wet 5 inches on us. Bleck. It's supposed to warm up as the week goes on, though, so that's something. Still would like to get out and about a bit. Also been RPing and gradually poking at ideas involving the DG-Victor/Save_Us_Alice wedding plot. I should make some sort of post on that at some point. . .let me just standardize what I've got in my head a bit more right now. Feels good to finally get these two hitched, I have to say. :)

Date: 2014-02-17 04:09 pm (UTC)Anyways, I still see the Moonstruck available in the market (for 2000 gems...yeah, no) so as long as I see it I'll keep trying until it disappears.
Monty won a Silver (pushing me to Level 25). Threw Bruce into Metal (he's only Level 4 so I don't expect anything higher than a Bronze from him but I want to save my Magnetic for moneymaking once I'm sure the Moonstruck isn't available anymore).
I had money but I wound up using it for treats to level up my Love and Rose only for them to keep failing. :/

Good for Monty. :) Wheatley got me a Gold the other day, which was nice of him. I'm breeding Gana and Echo again, but nobody else -- my nursery is full and I want some eggs out of there just in case I get some short breed times. Though I'm still tempted to try one of my Fires and Jethro to see if I could get a Gold.

If it's another Rainbow I'm going to be slightly perturbed. And unless by some miracle it's still available in two days I'm really screwed over this time until they decide to re-release the Moonstruck.

Is it all right if I get a little squee-y about getting an Amethyst at last, though? (Well, sort of -- I tried Gana and Echo again a bit ago and finally got a 28-hour breed time.)
