crossover_chickIt was decently warm out enough for me to actually get outside and take a walk today. Talk about nice. Yeah, I did have to do some wading through some slush, but it was worth it in the end. Fresh air is a very good thing, and been in very short supply this winter. Bleh.
DragonVale updates: My Gold egg is in the nursery, and my Victory is still cooking in the Breeding Cave. Today's mostly been about earning money, though I have been doing a little rearranging with decorations and suchlike. Eventually I will get this park looking like some place people want to actually visit. I should probably also spend the money to get more treat farms, but I feel like I'm doing pretty well with the eight I have right now. Besides, I don't really have anywhere to put them that won't involve hunting them down. In the future I'll figure something out. Maybe do like my friend Ael does and put them on their own island. I'm also still trying for a Winter dragon -- no luck so far, but I'll keep at it. The more epics to help me with cash flow, the better.
And really, not much else to report. Quiet weekend is quiet. Not really complaining, though. Soon enough it looks like life is gonna get quite busy again. . .but that depends on how Monday goes. And I've still got a day until that, so later!

I bought the Olympus Habitat and the small Moon only because I don't have room on my crowded island for the Large one. I'll be back to moneymaking once my breeders are done; Ororo and Slythe will be first since their 8-hour something got sped up so there's only an hour and a half left.
So NOW *glares at DV daring it to release another uber-limited dragon* I can concentrate on building up money to build up treats to build up the dragons for Aquamarine and Clover for March.
Very late update because Mom let me go back to bed and I wound up sleeping until noon and I got Animal Crossing New Leaf for 3DS and was playing that while I was eating lunch, heh. Now I have dishes and laundry to do before we go out to dinner for Mom's birthday (it's on Tuesday but since my brother and sister are free tonight...yeah).
But YAY I GOT THE VICTORY WHEE!!!!

I'm holding off on the Olympus until the egg's closer to hatching -- I might use Kairos to speed both up near the end. We'll see. I threw Attar and Mimsy together to see what they might make, but I think I'm ending up with a darn Flower. Meeeeh. *checks since it's been a hour since I put them together* Yeah, flower. Hmph.
Mostly I've been rearranging my islands today and trying to make them actually look decent. I have paths again! And decorations! :O Basically putting things in neat rows and such to prepare for more habitats, really. I need to figure out where I'm putting my Light and my Olympus. Need to buy a Light dragon egg too. Oh, so much to do, so much to dooooo. . .
Heh, I understand that. I had my birthday celebration three days after my actual birthday since that's when Mom was actually free. I hope you have a good time! :D
