Dragon Baby Pictures!

crossover_chickI've grown up two of these (Theseus and Lumin (formerly Lumen -- I decided to change it because I actually do like the "i" version better, and I was thinking of the word "luminous" right before naming him), but I'll show you pics of those tomorrow. For now, ickles!
Franklin and baby Drachma! Who, ah, kind of blends into the background there, heh. ^^; Well, you'll get a better look at him when he's older. I still love that he came with a name that's a type of currency -- and hey, that could apply to Franklin too in a weird way, couldn't it? *checks* Yup, he's on the $100! So hooray, two very appropriate names from the game. XD
Baby Lumin, who is a cutie even grown up. The way his wings go reminds me of a hummingbird. And he's got a pretty darn cool habitat. Now I just need to get him some friends. . .
Baby Theseus! He got a little weird-looking once he got older, but he's still cool. I find it pretty neat that he's one of the more snake-like dragons. Woo for varied designs! I'm trying to get him some friends too -- it's just slow-going.
Not much else to report from the world of DragonVale -- been winning money in races, rearranging islands (my Fire/Lightning one is getting a little crowded), and growing food. And breeding, of course, but so far I've just gotten eggs that I'm planning to sell, none that I want to keep. Still, got the Winter cooking, so that's something. Though I just looked up the Seasonal habitat -- apparently it only holds two dragons?? That's kind of bullshit. Ah well, at least it's relatively cheap. Current plan of attack is to start breeding Light hybrids, while also trying for the other Olympus dragons. I might also take another shot at a Treasure dragon -- Electrum sounds fun.
In other news -- not much. I've got a week until my class starts, so I'm just taking advantage of the quiet and such. Actually slept in slightly this morning (although that was partially because I'd forgotten to readjust my alarm). Might as well get it in now, I suppose. Come Monday, things are gonna change.
As it is right now, though, Monday's still about six days away, and I have shit to get to. Later!

Date: 2014-02-26 03:24 pm (UTC)I've just about got my breeders ready for March. Tropius is left, currently stuck at level 13 as he makes me a Luminous dragon with Lumen.
Just for shiggles I decided to try and see if Crue and Slythe would give me a Seasonal. They said "Nope!" and gave me a Smoke instead. Ah, well...at least it sells for a million (and actually 14 hours is a little better than 20).
In non-DV news...unless AL does something to annoy me, I have a feeling she's gonna bring Twelve to the next party (Simon's birthday I think?) just based on the fact that Peter Capaldi looks so damn sexy in his Doctor outfit (I put some pics in my journal). So more than likely she'll have two new faces with her.

Date: 2014-02-26 04:34 pm (UTC)I'm getting my first Luminous dragon now -- put Lumin together with Flitvine. :D AND, thanks to having to pop on late last night because I nearly forgot to get the Seasonal habitat going for my Winter, I'm getting my first opposite dragon! Elsa and Attar are making a Frostfire. :D I'm building another Cold habitat on the Plant/Water island to hold it, since I don't want it hit by negative boosts.
Ah well. *patpat* Attar and Elsa gave me two Poisons before any decent dragons, the swines. Though I'll forgive them because yay Frostfire. I've also hatched my Winter -- named it Daenerys after the dragon lady from "Game of Thrones/A Song Of Ice And Fire." Hey, its description IS full of references to that series. . .
And yes, I saw your pictures and such. I approve of the outfit too -- though I think I agree with Linkara's opinion that he could use a tie or something to break up that V of white at his neck. (Yes, should be Simon's birthday -- about a month away.)
