Well, I Knew It Was Coming

The red curse has slammed into me and left me drained. Strangely enough, though, I've managed to be reasonably productive despite that. I got a good chunk of Chapter 16 of "Forgetting You" (EDIT: "There's Always Tomorrow," damn it) rewritten (to reflect changes I made to Chapter 15 regarding Doc's decision about the DeLorean), and I've actually managed to keep up with RP tags. Freaking miracle, really.

Other news of the day:

-->Went shoe shopping with Mom for another pair of dressier shoes I could wear to school (the Office Skills Training program I'm in says to dress like you're at work, so. . .) Got a nice pair of grey ones with some black, beige, and purple socks.

-->Hatched my Diamond dragon this morning; came with the name Gleam. :) I've been trying for the Spring dragon all day, with breaks to attempt an Olympus, but no dice. Eh well, fails get me money. Gotta build up my capital after all.

-->The weather is evil and horrible, promising nice days and then getting cloudy and cold. April, stop it with this bullshit, seriously. >.<

I think you meant "There's Always Tomorrow" and not "Forgetting You" but I know Victor's invaded your brain and it's That Time Of The Month, so... :)

Jimmy had won a Gold and I threw Rhoda into Air.

My Diamond still has 9 hours to incubate as of this writing. I'll be glad when it's out of the EBI so I can do some profit breeding even though Winds sell for a million. This last try finally netted me the Hypnotic, so yay.

Let's see...the Blue Fire came with the name Blinky and the Chrome came with the name Scales, which is my Pepper's name. I changed it to Trace after country singer Trace Adkins who sings the song Chrome. My Silver still has 12 hours left before it hatches.

I think once the Hypnotic's done I'll try for the Iron, which is next in line on the chart. Speaking of, I threw it into Paint and erased all of the "Filler" labels since I'm writing in what I'm using, plus I erased all the Opposite dragons since I'm replacing them with something that won't be negatively effected by the boosts (more'n likely Light and Dark - once I have it - hybrids).

*checks trophy list* Dash and Flint both got Golds for me in Earth and Metal respectively. Attar's taking on Air.

Was trying for a Spring with WhiteFang and Doc, but I think I'm getting a Sun or Moon instead, meh. (I'm a little unsure since it happened around 6 this morning, and I THINK Suns have to come after 7 AM?) On the plus side, Bloom dragons are available! On the minus, they too involve Cold and Lightning, so there will be multi-day fails. Meh. Judging by the description, they should be around til Easter, so that's a couple of weeks of trying.

Blinky? XD Adorbs! And that's pretty clever. My Chrome is Narcissus, since their description calls them vain. :P

Nice work. Maybe you could join the wiki and post your updated chart so people have a better one to work with? :P Though of course we have Light and Dark boosts to consider now. . . DragonVale, it always changes the game.

Bloom dragon, huh? So much for the original plan. I guess I'll be doing that once the Diamond is done incubating (since it's first). Though you know what sucks? Until the Motley leaves, it and the Bloom are both 13 hours, so it'll be impossible to tell right away. And I only have 311 gems so if I want to keep my count at 300 I'll have to wait until Rhoda wins something or the counter goes down low enough to speed it up.

Yup! We probably should have expected -- the description screams "Easter dragon" to me, and that's on the 20th. *shrug* It's not much of a change from trying for the Spring for me. And bleh -- shove off, Motley. I've already got two of you, cute as you are.
