The Weekend of Rare Dragons

I hatched my Bloom -- named it Bunny because it's the Easter dragon -- my Lunar Eclipse is being bred by Everest and Fluffy, AND I threw Snowflame together with Doc earlier this evening and got the 24-hour notice, so I'm getting a Spring! :D This is awesome, seriously. It's like the Gods of Rare Dragons have smiled upon me. I'm gonna be trying for a Sandstorm next, and/or one of the Olympus dragons. Might as well exploit the luck streak, right?

Was supposed to be rainy today, but ended up being just cloudy -- and surprisingly warm in Lincoln and Providence. Serious spring weather. :D Very nice indeed. It's been cold and miserable for far, far too long. School was another parade of assignments I finished before everyone else and the like. Though I got to leave class a few minutes early, so that was nice. I also got a good chunk done on the Epilogue, clearing up a few things, so that's still on track. Looking forward to wrapping this thing up!

Not much else to report. RP scene is kind of quiet at the moment, but that's okay because I'm knd of tired at the moment. It's been kind of a shitty week when it comes to sleep, sadly. Fortunately I find myself with the chance to sleep in now, so hopefully I can make that up. As it is, right now I'm going to just relax. And gather magic eggs every chance I get. :P

Woo-hoo!

I'm just gonna update now because tomorrow might be insane, but I'll get to that in a minute.

Yiruma won a Gold and I threw Rooty into Plant.

Crystal dragon came with the name Terra and I kept it for lack of anything better. Miasma is in the Nursery with the Lunar Eclipse and the Lapis is still incubating of course.

For now until Monday I'm going to profit breed since I forgot to email myself my spreadsheet of all the dragons I have thus far and I don't want to have to remember to add dragons when I get back to work.

If gathering treats can net me eggs, then that's the way I'll go for a while with the money I make. I did get a bunch of my guys to 11 with their pretty orbs. I'd like them to hit 15 and finally net me the Silver Shrine goal rewards but whatever. I really should save for the Seventh Island since clearing obstacles can give you eggs, too. What a conundrum. Hm.

The main reason I don't want to do anything too in-depth tomorrow is because I'm finally going back to the barn after six months away! Plus Ed and I have to go food shopping early if I want to keep my plan of leaving at noon when my mom comes home from work. So while collecting money and restarting breeding and selling eggs is okay I don't want to do much in the way of strategizing while I'm up there tomorrow since I'll have other stuff to think about.

So that's my tale that I would've told you tomorrow but I'll be busy all day. :)

Heh, I see. Terra's not a bad name, though I think it might fit an Earth/Plant dragon more. I haven't got anything in the Nursery beyond my Moon egg right now -- both breeding pairs are still busy making their respective dragons.

Aaah -- good thinking. Might as well not make things harder on yourself, right? And money is always a good thing.

You can get two eggs per treat-gather, but it's random whether or not you'll get it. Also I think there's like a limit of 40 eggs you can get from that. It's still a good way to get them, though -- and more food is always a good thing! As for the island, I hear you -- I probably will summon it during this event so I can get the eggs for clearing stuff. I just want to earn a little more cash before I do so. . .

Awesome! I wish you fun day over there. :D And yes, I can see how it would put a bit of a crimp in the dragonvaling plans. *nodnod* But yeah, have fun! :)
